A parcel is supposedly being returned to me after I sent it over a month ago because apparently the local Chinese company used by DPD could not deliver the parcel unless they got in contact with me to get the recipient’s phone number. Which I had already given. As well as a clear, accurate and deliverable address. The story then changed from “it’s the wrong number” to “We called they didn’t answer” when I established that it was the right number. My number was provided but nobody bothered to call me. I got an email in Chinese that went straight to my junk folder. I have been waiting and asking constantly where my parcel is and when it is coming back as DPD keep telling me that I have to go through Parcel Monkey. There is only one thread and it is clear seeing as Ive asked a million times when I’m getting the parcel back that I know it is being sent back. After being held in customs apparently back iin London, tracking updated to “we could not deliver, contact sender”. So I emailed parcel monkey numerous times today to establish what has happened and why The parcel could not be delivered back. They said they would update me after it was held in customs but of course they did not. Never do. Writing back to me after all the stress and agg I’ve been throygh, through no fault of my own with an apparent update today to say “the update is that the item is being sent back” when I made a very specific quer and you can see clearly see through the thread of the conversation that this was established a long time ago and I’ve been asking constantly when it is coming back, what the issues are on it’s way back and where it is on its journey back is complete disregard, neglect and apathy. it’s extremely disrespectful. Gobsmacked and disgusted.

This service was great and the parcel was collected on time and delivered on time. I would highly recommend the Parcel Force option on deliveries.

A really good service if everything goes to plan. Not quite so good however if something goes wrong with a delivery and remedial activity is requested.

Irresponsible service. My parcel was returned as it had a prohibited item (acknowledging it was my fault). But Parcelmonkey has made a mess of returning it to me. Had to pay and then they sent it to the wrong address! Now after your mistake are you seriously telling me I have to pay again?

Sorry I have no choice but to leave a bad review, I set up my collection for 1pm, the driver didn’t collect until 5:15pm (out of office hours for my delivery location) I missed a huge deadline. Tried to speak to parcel monkey but their message system is flawed (no submit button on mobile version). Do not have a contact number either on contact us page. Will not use again, cost me £30 for a delivery that was no longer needed :(

We use Parcel Monkey for our business needs, however recently their 24 hour service was taking 72 hours to arrive! Parcel Monkeys excuse was it was whilst we paid for 24 hours we didn’t pay for guaranteed delivery! They also fob off customers and blame parcel force regularly - even though our context is with parcel monkey. They shirk any responsibility, quote terms and conditions and blame third parties. There are other similar companies we will be using in future with better reputations and customer services.

- Original collection date Wed 14th Nov: no one came to collect the parcel - 1st rescheduling for Fri 16th Nov: no one came to collect the parcel - 2nd rescheduling for the Mon 19th Nov: one came to collect the parcel I was at home the 3 days. No explanation from the company whatsoever - apart from like 6 We are sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you messages. FIRST AND LAST TIME I USE THIS COMPANY

Excellent process for booking and pick up in UK. Sadly let down by the delivery courier in Portugal. The driver failed to deliver because he said "incomplete address". The address on the label was exactly as booked so not incomplete at all. The recipient has had to battle to speak to someone and has now agreed to collect his parcel from a local agent.. Delivery courier failed to deliver to the door. Will not recieve hismparcel until Friday. Therefore 10 days to delivery.

if you wanna give them 5 stars - they are happy and say theyre good. but if you want to make a claim for not collecting the parcel - they say - they are only a platform to compare and say you: bugger off - "find the company you paid, not us" Not recommended at all - keep away.

i often use parcel monkey for sending parcels to Australia and New Zealand. I find the cost very competitive, the service reliable and speedy. Last time my parcel was picked up on Thursday afternoon and it arrived in New Zealand safe and well by Tuesday morning. No complaints and I would (and have) recommended them to all my family and friends.

Parcel for a birthday gift. It arrived late so missed the recipient before they left for a holiday. Emailed parcelmonkey to see why parcel had sat at a depot for 6 days. No reply till second attempt. They said they would look into it and let me know. They didnt. Wont use again.
