To my way of thinking Parcel Monkey is the best way to send any parcel to France and Australia.

First the positive; I did book a carrier through Parcel Monkey. Now for the negative bit. Despite enetring the size and weight of my parcel on the first screen, Parcel Monkeys process makes the customer proceed right to the point at which you choose your drop off point, before they inform you that the carrier does not support your requirements. Given that Parcel Monkey presents the customer with a list of, presumably suitable carriers, I find it very annoying hat they dont filter out carriers who cannot deliver a parcel.

Just dont use it when its important. When it works its great but when it doesnt no-one has any form of liability, so a guaranteed next day pickup that doesnt happen and no-one is notified and the courier swans up the following day pretending nothing is wrong, is fine and within expectations, then when the guaranteed next day delivery is then also mysteriously yet another day late, thats OK too because a two day turnaround has up to ten days before it can be considered late. Theres a clue in the name.

Overall a positive experience however I was met by a very unhelpful customer service agent when i had an issue and had to contact Parcel Monkey. It was a cheap service so naturally the customer service expectation was about the same. I wasn’t told that my package had been delivered to a post office abroad and it was only when I tracked it that I discovered this. The status of my shipping was ‘told addressee that package is at PO’ or something that effect even though I paid for it to be delivered to the door (or believed that was the service I was paying for). These were the only issues. Packages arrived intact and in good condition.

Parcelmonkey were by far the cheapest at £10 from Bedford mk40 to Belfast bt34 using Parcelforce, parcel2go wanted £36 as did going direct to the Parcelforce website. Fantastic price and delivered as per there time scale (3 days). Will use again especially for N.I.

Parcel Monkey is a joke and I advise everyone to stay away from parcel Monkey. Araanged a pick up to start with, did not show up, rearranged again and nobody showed up and only collected on 3rd attempt for a next day delivery which was a return so I could get my refund from a supplier I bought the item from. Two weeks after I contacted the supplier for my refund, I was told Parcel Monkey did not deliver any item, therefore no refund. Took me very stressful communication of several emails and phone calls to DX Courier before a Parcel Monkey told me they lost my parcel and there is no compensation. This is a rogue company and should not be allowed to get away with this clandestine and nonchalant ripoff attitude. They did not explain to me how my item got lost within 24 hours period my item was with them. Got my credit card company on to them first and recovered the the £50.98 cost for the delivery for lack of performance of the contract. Now, we are in court for the cost of my item which they failed to deliver or give back to me as they have not explained to me how my item got lost under their care.

What a joke of a company! Do not use. I had 2 treadmills to send back from amazon. First they never turned up then i re booked, they don’t turn up and parcel monkey didn’t seem to care at all even though they were happy to take my money! In the end I just went straight to delivery company bypassing parcel monkey and got it picked up the same day and it was cheeper! Will never use parcel monkey again, recommend people bypass them all together

The package was collected on the designated day and delivered on schedule at the other end of the country - from Fife to Hampshire. Reasonable price and no complaints.

Chose to go with Parcel Monkey for collection and delivery to Australia in 3 to 5 days. However, my son in Australia had an email from Parcel Monkey to say delivery would be 12 days later. Not happy, though it may be due to Australian postal service....so three stars for notice of collection time, but no more because of length of time for delivery
