I have held off from writing this review for a while now in order to give Parcel Monkey plentiful time to sort it out, but now, ten weeks later, I have lost hope. If I could rate zero, I would. The worst experience I have ever had of dealing with a company in my professional life. I sent two parcels, one went to the wrong place, and the other was damaged beyond repair, but insured with Parcel Monkey. Firstly, the claims got merged together into one claim, which confused everything. They sent the damaged parcel claim form to the customer with the late delivery, and if it hadnt been for my own investigating, that would never have been picked up. Every time I speak to someone, which is not often as the only way you can speak to them is on their chat system, which they takes days, even weeks to reply to you on, they end up confusing the two issues, or are not aware of them. It is now 10 weeks since the initial claim and we have been offered 10% of the claim, being told that that was all we claimed, and they will now no longer look a further into it. The only time you can guarantee some kind of response if if you tweet them, which is just unacceptable. I rarely get this upset about these kinds of thing, but I rarely am faced with this level of ineptitude and rudeness.

Worst experience of my life with a courier.. If anyone would like the back ground and entire history on which i have based my review I will be more than happy to produce it .. To try and keep it Brief They Failed to collect the item on 3 different occasions. be aware if you have a problem, you cannot speak directly to anyone at PM its all on-line (possibly offshore ) I spent a total of over 2 hours on line with their so called help center attempting to ascertain reasons for failure to collect ..I was kept waiting for over 30 mins at times, only to get constantly predetermined, "stock" non committal responses, which did not answer or address any of my issues example My Question.. can you please contact the courier responsible for collecting my parcel and advise me if they are definitely going to arrive today as advised by yourselves, especially as they have failed to arrive on 2 previous occasions ( 2 days of my time wasted staying in, to facilitate pick up ) Their Answer .. PM are unable to contact the courier directly, we have to send them an email and wait for a response . waited online for 40 mins to be told.. sorry courier in question has not responded. It gets worse !! They finally collected the item (a small solid wood bedside cabinet ) sold to a lady in Dundee via Ebay ) item was never used and in original packaging.. Next i am contacted by the recipient ..who included images to support her disappointment .. It had clearly been dropped.. box was badly damaged and the unit (solid oak ) had a big piece of one corner broken off .. must of taken some force to damage and sever solid oak .. so i contact PM and go thru the process of complain and attempt to claim compensation.. No sir !! I was informed that my item was listed (somewhere in the T&C ) as not covered for damage.. even though, when i booked the delivery i had to clearly describe the item for shipment and was then asked for the value .. at no point was it flagged or are you made aware that you have no recourse should the item be damaged ( so totally pointless and irrelevant asking you to submit the value) bit of a con ! if you are asked for the value of your item, you would naturally assume you were covered in some way if things went wrong .. not with PM .. I have never taken the time to write a review on any product or company. but my experience with PM was so bad i really thought it was worth spending 20 mins. so others hopefully do not endure a similar nightmare

Picked up on time, within the hour emailed, terrific price, I send parcels to Denmark and France as well as UK and they are always in three days and the tracking is so easy. Woulsnt use anyone else

Booked the courier for ab out 8 quid cheaper than going direct, got the label in emailed to me within 5 minutes, printed it off, courier picked up the package the next day and it was delivered. Pretty straight forward. No problems.

Parcel Monkey service was fine but my 24hr Parcel Force delivery to arrive before 10am the following day didnt turn up until after 10am the day after it was supposed to. Atrocious service that has really let me down but more importantly caused at lot of extra stress and work for an important client. Extremely dissapointing overall.

Paid for a 3-5 day delivery. It is now 7 days and the parcel has still not been delivered. Apparently it is in destination country but no further progress available. This appears to be a Royal Mail issue rather than parcel monkey but still not great

Booked pickup for Monday: picked up on Tuesday. Promised for Wednesday delivery: delivered on Thursday. I paid for pickup; sender printed out labels as requested. Driver arrived with own labels. Driver who delivered package to me did apologise for the delay. Nobody else from courier co. has anything to say about charging me for 24-hour service and not delivering as promised. Other than this, everything is just luvly.

Extremely terrible service. I’m sure they’ve lost my parcel and despite chasing for over 6 weeks no one has bothered to call me. I feel totally helpless as I can’t contact them directly as they don’t offer this facility. I’m seriously thinking of taking a legal route against monkey’s business.
