Everything was fine except that I stayed in for a whole day waiting for collection and no one came. I then had to rebook for 2days later.

Easy to use website and easy payment. However, a well wrapped parcel arrives with damage. Once again courier firms have a complete disregard for the items they are transporting. Items marked fragile arrive with damage. Very poor. The 2 stars are because the website is good.

I booked a 24hr service from parcelforce. Stating the parcel would be delivered 24hrs from collection. However no where did it say that did not apply to a Friday collection? So I paid extra for what I thought was a 24hr service and it was delivered Monday PM rather than Saturday!

Parcel Monkey are THE worst courier service I and thousands of other dissatisfied customers have had the misfortune to ever use, just in case you are considering using Parcel Monkey be aware they have NO phone lines so you have to e mail them if, and you will, have a problem and they never answer your e mails so you end up trying time and time and time again until you give up and they WIN, what a dreadful way to treat customers.

Use this service to send parcels normally about 25kg to my son in Netherlands. Never had any issues sent over a dozen parcels.

Placed order on wednesday I was told that I would receive confirmation within 30 mins. That didn’t happen. Finally received confirmation Thursday morning saying that my parcel would be picked up on Friday. I was then told that delivery would be made the following Monday!! So “next day” actually means 5-day delivery. Not impressed at all since I paid a premium for this service and the received was not happy either as they depended on receiving it. Whilst some of this was probably Couriers limitations I got a sense from the messages that their processes were being followed and that parcel monkey just weren’t making things clear to me. I won’t be using them again.

DHL collected parcel mid afternoon from Bristol & it was delivered in Hamilton Scotland mid morning the next day. Less than 24 hours, so I call that a great result!

When it works it works fine but if something goes wrong - they are not the fastest at sorting things out. I sent a parcel on 7th Feb, a box, quite heavy, so not easy to lose down a crack in the van. It is now 14th March, and although P.M. are supposed to have forwarded all the details to DPD, nobody has yet got back to me. Hoping for a speedy resolution, but beware. This is not a good experience for me!

I was to send a birthday card to my Uncle in Thailand along with some photos of a new nephew. This parcel was to be collected on a Friday, it didn’t happen and was rescheduled for the Monday, that too didn’t happen. I spoke to someone (although on chat as they don’t have a phone support centre, I now know why because they are shocking with dealing with complaints). And they re-arranges it for the Wednesday. Again this didn’t happen. And at all these times they were unable to tell me why. After discussing it with them they gave me a refund but were unable to compensate me for the 3 missed days of someone staying at my property to pick up the parcel. Shocking service and poor complaints department. Will not be using again.

Basically a good service but you are still placing the senders phone number on the shipping labels where it should be showing the receivers phone number. This leads to customs problems and is serious and is why we dont use Parcelmonkey as much as we used to. We pointed this out more than 3 months ago but its still happening.
