Our business recently tried Parcel Monkey as the prices were a bit cheaper than what we normally pay for courier services. Unfortunately, our experience wasnt good and our business wont be continuing with Parcel Monkey. The website itself was easy to use, it was easy enough to order the shipping and print out labels and the prices were slightly less than what we are already paying when ordering directly with the couriers. However, 3 weeks after sending each parcel we would receive an email from Parcel Monkey advising that they have added an extra charge to the shipping as the weight was apparently wrong - we can prove the weight and dimensions of the parcels we sent were correct, other than an email from Parcel Monkey stating that the weight was wrong and we have yet to see any actual proof that our weight or dimensions were wrong. Apparently the weight was wrong on all but one parcel sent through Parcel Monkey. We regularly send the same parcels (exact same weight, dimensions etc that we used on Parcel Monkey) to the exact same customers directly through the courier we used on Parcel Monkey and in over 6 years we have never had any extra charge or complaints from the courier that the weight or dimensions was wrong. Why does this only happen with all but one of the parcels that were sent through Parcel Monkey but has never happened with any of the 5k+ parcels that we sent directly with the courier over the last few year. Unfortunately, based on this experience we are unable to trust Parcel Monkey and will not be using again. We are also unable to recommend that anybody else uses Parcel Monkey for this reason.

Poor customer service. No sense of urgency. Waiting 7 days to investigate something that has proved to have arrived at depot is not customer friendly. Goods have been at delivery depot for over a week. Delivery is over a week late.

I have used this service a few times and have never been dissatisfied. I usually use to send gifts to my daughter who lives overseas and she has ALWAYS had her parcel within a few days!

Sent a parcel to an industrial unit in Netherlands, parcel force van drove past destination, delivery man didn’t even drop a card off to tell us where the parcel will be or how the recipient can collect it. Phoned and emailed, still no parcel to date.

I honestly can say I have had no problems and everything went as it should be from arranging online, collecting at my address and delivering to recipient. Highly recommend!

This company messed me up and my vulnerable mother who is now behind with her tablets because of the incorrect sum of value they had calculated for the parcel causing us to pay another £245.90 for false declaration of price. The communication is very poor and the customer service department is very incompetent and not helpful at all. They lied about the package being with Courier meanwhile the package was still at customs because of the high amount of value written on the package £548 instead of £20.88 for tablets on a private prescription. I used them as the service was cheap to send the tablets to Africa instead of Courier company which would have cost me £68.40. I have sent these tablets with Courier and never had any problem. Please dnt use parcel monkey anymore. They give you false information and are unable to track your package. Right now as we speak I want to complain and open a claim but yet that service is not even available. I am done with this company and report them to the ombusman.

I used parcel monkey to send a fairly large package to my daughter in France.
Parcelforce collected my parcel and less than 48 hours later my daughter had received it! Amazing service, would totally recommend and will definitely use your site again.

I sent 100 parcels, to go to different addresses. Uploading the CVS document was easy, but the rest of the process was incredible long-winded. I was sent 100 seperate emails, with each postage label attached. So it took a long time (and a lot of excess paper to print all these out). Although I paid for the parcels to be collected, the driver didnt come on the requested date, which meant I needed to book a dedicated courier with a van to take them to the depot. From there, the only way you can track each parcel, was by downloading each label again, copying the reference number, opening the courier website tracking, and entering the number into the tracking system. I can imagine its fine for if you sending a small number of parcels, but awful for larger numbers.

Seamless service. I cant understand how many people are so dumb as not to understand that ParcelMonkey is only an ordering website – they dont collect or deliver parcels. Its as if someone blamed a ticket machine for a delayed train.

I paid for a ParcelForce24 service which ended up taking 3days, only being delivered on the fourth. Not what I expected at all and let my customer down. But I’m sure the usual excuses will be made.

I post a lot of parcels online. AVOID PARCELMONKEY AT ALL COSTS! I sent a parcel and was charged £16 initially for a large 5kg box through Parcelforce on Parcelmonkey. The payment was accepted, the parcel was accepted at collection and the parcel was delivered. Two weeks later I received an email from parcel-monkey, saying they were charging me an EXTRA £52 for the parcel, as they decided they are going to charge me on the volumetric weight rather than the actual weight of the parcel, as it was only a light but bulky parcel. Why was this not advertised at the time if they were going to charge volumetric weight?? Why was I quoted and accepted payment at £16 and why was it not raised any sooner that there would be an extra charge? How can they justify charging a total of £69 to deliver ONE parcel that was only 5kg in weight?!?!?! To add to the problems - although this is not Parcel Monkeys fault and is more a reflection on Parcelforce - the parcel actually arrived damaged and now my customer wants a refund. Parcelmonkey - advertise the actual price before trying to con people for extra money!!!!

DO NOT USE. Booked a next day delivery service with Parcel Monkey. No collection occurred on the scheduled day despite my chasing and being promised a collection. But then no collection happened either on the 2nd day despite further promises. No proactive communication by Parcel Monkey and no responsibility taken by them - it was the fault of everyone but them. Lots of references to small print and no person to speak to in order to resolve. Could not recommend them less.

Absolute Fraudsters Parcel was fully paid at source but charged again for freight etc at the time of delivery for roughly £50. Also, it was delivered 3 day late. Rubbish.
