Sent a parcel through Parcel Monkey picked up by DPD. It was used franked foreign stamps. It was passed then stopped at the London depot of DPD stating there was prohibited items in there. They charged me nearly £15 to return it or they would destroy it. The buyer in Singapore had already paid £21.92 postage for the parcel to be shipped. Now I’m told by Parcel Monkey that they will only refund me the £21.92 and not the return £15. amount. I sent pictures of the items inside the parcel as proof but they still haven’t refunded me the extra amount. It was DPD’s fault and as I booked through a Parcel Monkey it was their responsibility to refund me. I am not happy at all. I have used them on previous occasions and never had this problem. I will have to look elsewhere even if I have to pay a bit more.

Excellent service as usual. I have been using Parcel monkey for three years, always good service.
It is a shame that there price for my most used destination has increased last year by 30%.
Happy to re use them any time.

Easy to use sensible internet agent for ordering a courier service of choice. Either a collection or drop-off by several couriers all available online with simple step by step user friendly method of ordering.The service drops a star because of problems I have encountered when the chosen courier uses its small print Ts & Cs to avoid paying out on a misdirected or late delivery.Granted this is not Parcelmonkeys fault but they should be firmer with couriers that renege on a contractual obligation. Otherwise very pleased and have used them for a couple of years now.

Problems with customer service on more than one ocation. All good till there is a problem with a package then you have to chase and chase and chase them, very stressful when you are trying to run a business.

The person picking the boxes from DPD was extremely rude. He refused to help loading his own truck and I had to carry the boxes myself. He was throwing the boxes from other people in his truck as if he wanted in purpose to brake everything in them. Once the boxes arrived to the destination and even though everything was wrapped carefully and had fragile tape around, everything was smashed. Never again.

Utilised a 4 day Parcel Monkey service to courier important legal documents to South Africa in order to assist my elderly mother with her finances. I received no status updates through the process and was unaware that the documents were not delivered until contacted by the lawyers to query when they could be expected after 10 days. When contacting customer service I was told the delivery would be investigated and I could expect a response in 24-48 hours. I re-contacted the next day to find out that a response from the courier had been received - no contact from Parcel Monkey to me. The update from the courier contained no information, with the customer service agent unable to advise if the documents were lost or simply delayed. The solution? Another 7 day wait while an investigation is undertaken. Given that these are documents urgently required, I advised that I would have to resend, as a further 7 day delay was not acceptable. No offer to compensate for the delay/loss of my documents, nor an offer to contribute to the cost of re-sending. Poor experience overall with the delivery service, and especially the communication from customer services, I cannot recommend this service.

Damaged goods, completely ignored many requests (I have screen shots). Although I paid extra for increased insurance stillnothing. Very poor customer service and blatant liars as they said they have been working with the recipient but that was a lie. Then they sais they sent forms to him (another lie) and he missed the window - of course he did as being out of pocket by over £700 would make you a little lazy when dealing with a claim - bunch of clowns
