Get Driver to give a printed receipt for collection rather than rely on customer having to ask fo handwritten signature as proof.

Good idea but this is something that would have to be developed by the courier's themselves.

They didn't collect for 5 days. This also happened witht he previous parcel monkey parcel with Courier. Did a 60 mile trip to the depot.
