Managed to book a collection as it was a large parcel. Then 5:30pm on the day of collecting, I was informed that it would not be collected due to the well documented Strike action. Why did the allow a booking with knowledge of a strike. You should have seen the face of the clerk at my local shop when I tried to man handle the package over the top of the counter…

They did brilliantly. After trying and giving up on 6 different companies for sending a parcel to Germany Parcel Monkey made it easy. For filling in details online, then sending me an email link to print out the necessary forms. And they collected the parcel from my porch while most companies seemed to be on strike, and notified the recipient in Germany that the parcel was on its way and where to pick it up.

Was told package would be delivered in 3 to 4 days. Arrived 8 days later because it was sent to the wrong state. And was told it was delayed due to customs clearance which was not true because I tracked the package Would not be using this service anymore.

The collection was easy, was given updates and a one hour collection slot. Was picked up within that hour slot.
Parcel got held up at Swansea Depo and c therefore didn’t arrive next day like I’d paid for. But delivery was made the following day early in the morning .

The process was quick and straightforward although when you went to print the customs form it kept returning to the log in page for some reason. Dropping the parcel off at the access point which was a local store in Horbury the shop keeper argued it was to big to have in her shop. 41cm by 41cm by 39cm which I argued against, a drop point should be accessible. How the UPS service was excellent thet collect Monday and my Daughter in the USA got it Wednesday, unbelievable quicker than local delivery here.

Parcel monkey were okay good communication and easy to use portal. I picked DPD from they offers they made and it was delivered more than 24 hours late and left in a rubbish cupboard. All couriers need a good kick up the whatsit if you ask me.

Ordered a next day delivery on Friday 25th November. It got delivered on Wednesday 30th November. I contacted DX (the Courier) involved but they have said I need to contact you instead. This request for a review is therefore very timely. I assume that youll be sorting a full refund please.
