Dropped off a parcel on Thursday evening at 5.45 having paid for a next day service and parcel was only delivered on Monday afternoon - would have been faster and cheaper to stick with Royal Mail!

My parcel was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday and was promised it would be today but still hasnt arrived. Not happy at all as this was an Easter parcel for my daughter who lives in france

I had the urgent need to send a parcel from Wales to Italy. From the website I could see that Parcel Monkey offered the possibility to book the date for the door to door pick up. Then I book for the day after. In the morning I receveid an email from the company with the estimated time for the withdrawal. But the time passed, and I waited in the house the Whole day for the guy to come. Nobody came. So I dropped several emails from the website. The answers were not prompt and at the end of the day I still had my parcel at home. I complained with the support team, and they told that at least I could have the complete refund. They dropped me the email with a receipt of the refund but I never received any refund and Im sure that is not a problem of my bank as I checked with my advisory bank the transaction.

Another horrific experience with Parcel Monkey. Remember - Parcel Monkey are great as its all automated and rely on the carriers to do their jobs properly, which 9/10 they do, hence the many good reviews of Parcel Monkey. However, when PM need to get involved to sort a problem, thats when it all goes down hill. Here is an example..(shortened down for your digest) Parcel sent with DPD through PM. No issues. Aramex contacts me directly weeks later with an address query - DPD have outsourced to Aramex, and asked me to confirm address, which I do. They then ask my customer to get in contact, which he does, they then say they cant talk to the receiver only the sender. So I get in touch again with Aramex. They I hear nothing, so I expect the parcel is going to be delivered. However my customer then gets in touch and says he still hasnt received it - we are only to three weeks now for a four day delivery service. I contact Parcel Monkey and get a generic reply of we will look into it, - this is also after their tedious original robot replies of asking for proof of posting (funny that as its obviously in the system with the tracking showing its movements which is proof of posting - so you hav to argue with them to get past this first part) then nothing. I contact DPD directly who have informed me they have been continually trying to get hold of PM for the address query, and had no response. I put this to Parcel Monkey - no reply. I put it to them again, attaching the emails with DPD. No reply. I link they in another message to the original message to prompt them - no reply. I contact DPD again and am told as the parcel was in waiting for over 9 days for response from Parcel Monkey it has now been initiated as a return to THEM (not me) and will take 10-16 days. This will be around 6-8 weeks at this point from sending the parcel. I put this to Parcel Monkey, also including one of their senior operatives in the message - again, no reply. So basically, its going to have to go to a credit card Chargeback - which I recommend any who are being ignored by Parcel Monkey do - they are liable for your property and the postage costs. Barclaycard have told me this wont be an issue at all for them to retrieve the costs. Parcel Monkey seem to be on their radar based on the information I was given. Still to this day, no response from Parcel Monkey.

minor problems setting up the order probably due to the recipient including a PO box in the address. I had greater difficulties with other carriers which is why I went with PM. Other wise collected and delivered as expected.

Do not use. Appalling customer service. We ordered the delivery of an A4 legal document from Liverpool, UK to Chicago and was quoted 2-4 days by DPD so dropped it off on the 24th March. It arrived 13 days later having spent 5 days in Birmingham. During this time Parcel Monkey said they were making enquiries on our behalf. It is now 12th April and we havent heard from PM, it is not possible to call them. We have asked for an explanation and received neither. We would not recommend people use intermediaries and just go to a reputable courier direct.

The service we paid for should have delivered our parcel to Greece within 8 days maximum. At the moment the parcel is on track to take 16 days! It has taken 7 days for the parcel to get to Bucharest!!!

As long as your package isnt a delicate or important item then parcel monkey are great. However if you do have a problem they are extremely unhelpful. My item was well packaged and clearly labelled and was delivered broken. Their stock response has been that I didnt take out insurance- the insurance wasnt offered for my item! I see no point in offering insurance only for items that cant be damaged! Im now out of pocket and wont consider this company again.

Still waiting for item to be pick up by the courier from lock up, should of been delivered the lastest by 6th April , but on communication on line was told it still hadnt been collected. I only discovered this when the lady who was waiting for the parcel contacted me asking where it was. Very upset with the service, why was this not picked up, why was there no back up system in place to check that the parcel wasnt collected, no communication. No apologies when discussed on line. Poor service.
