Worst experience Just sent a single page document with Parcel Monkey via DPD. Paid £22 for the small letter. When document arrived at the destination, the intermediary couriers turned up with another invoice equal to £11. What the hell? They did not hand over the document until it was paid. I am not taking it up with Parcel Monkey and awaiting their reply

Nightmare if anything goes wrong... I needed to send original documentation (payslips and bank statements) to South Africa in order to sponsor my mother-in-law to obtain a visa to come and visit us in the UK. I posted the documents on 13th April and they were due to arrive on 26th April. The courier (DPD) seems to have lost track of the package as soon as it left the UK. Parcel Monkey need to decide whether they are a comparison site or providing a customer service. They are quite good at the comparison side but their "customer service" offering just gets in the way of resolving problems; they are effectively just a forwarding agency for questions and when no answers are forthcoming from their subcontractor (DPD) they take no responsibility.. They have no contact telephone number, only live chat. I asked them to instigate an instigation into the whereabouts of the missing package on 2nd May. This was supposed to have taken 5 days and Parcel Monkey has still not communicated the outcome to me at the time of writing (24th June) despite my chasing on more than ten occasions, I have separately contacted DPD and they have confirmed that their investigation has been unsuccessful in finding it. I instigated a claim for refund from Parcel Monkey on 24th May on the basis of having to send out a duplicate set of documentation via Courier as I could not afford to wait any longer for the original package to turn up. I have received a refund of the Parcel Monkey fee, however Parcel Monkey are refusing to compensate me for the value of the lost item, saying that I didnt notify them of the issue until more than 10 days after the due delivery date (this Is absolutely not true, I contacted them at least five times within this 10 day period). And of course they can give me no assurance that my personal data contained within the package has been safeguarded. Completely unacceptable.

Second time I hsve used company to send to Australia. Parcel has been traveling for 5 days and only ingo I have is that it left the UK 3 days ago. The company seems to have trouble tracking parcels when they lesve the country

Normally PM service is great. It was on this occasion. Only issue I have is that when something is wrong with their system it takes way too long for them to admit it and even longer to sort it out which on one occasion they never did

Quite possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with - no contact number so everything is done on web chat. I sent a parcel on the 8th May which they tried to charge me tax on. It is now the 23rd June and they have not returned it. Do not use these Monkeys!

Straightforward instructions. Added 1kg in weight that I paid for so there would be no discrepancies as other reviews said they got charged additional for excess weight. I was able to track my parcel easily. I sent it from the UK to Canada and I received it in the time specified within 5 working days. Overall very happy.

Absolute poor customer service, they keep telling me they have contacted the courier company. Its the worst company to use for parcels. They passed my parcel onto the most pathetic courier company in india. Now i am doing all the chasing in finding out what has happened to my parcel. They use the cheapest and most **** parcel companies to. Never use this service. POOR!

Booked next day collection, item not collected but courier info showed it had been then this was changed subsequently. No reason given just rearranged. An hour spent on chat line and numerous emails but no compensation offered for not meeting service contracted. No paperwork given on second collection as per terms and conditions. Do not use unless you want poor service and your time wasted.
