Awful. Great pick up from yodel. Then silence from 26 November when it arrived at Basildon. Supposed to be in Tokyo Wednesday night. It’s now 2 days late they don’t know where it is, if it’s even left the country. They say they are not responsible becuase it’s a courier, but they are ones I paid and my contract is with them. Spend hours, and days of on line with them. And I haven’t even started the process of claiming back the value of the parcel, let’s hope the extra insurance costs were worth it. I am positing 5 more parcels today and I am not using parcel monkey!!!!

Long Waiting Time: Just took so long for packages to be collected and delivered - even when youve paid extra for next day delivery, they didnt get delivered for 2 days.

Very unhappy with they’re services. I’ve been using them for the past few months. When it came to few items being damaged due to being miss handled they started to ignore my message and at the end refuses to pay for the damages even though item were insured and sent properly packed. Will never use them again. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!

It took a total of 22 days for shipment to go from UK to NZ when Express 5 day service had been paid for. The delays were entirely due to Parcel Monkey incompetence. First they lost my parcel for 9 days in the UK, then it transpired they had issued the incorrect paperwork for NZ Customs resulting in a further 6 day hold. They also did not inform me of Customs processing fee when I paid for the service. Customer service has been utterly appalling.

This is the second and last time I will use Parcel Monkey. Their online quote experience is good but after that the service is appalling. It was very easy to get the quote and book the collection. I had high hopes for a seamless service and full support. This lulls you into a false sense of security. Once you have made the booking Parcel Monkey immediately send you an email to say Your order has been despatched - this is before you even have a collection slot! It is hugely confusing. My collection did not happened on the date it was booked for and I spent a whole day waiting in for it only to find, after contacting the courier directly myself, that parcel monkey had NOT even booked the collection with them !!! IF they do manage to organise the collection, once it reaches its destination country, the tracking information goes silent and there are no updates at all. Beware - despite choosing a third party courier such as DPD etc etc you will only be able to communicate with Parcel Monkey and there are NO phone lines into the company so you are stuck with a live chat. Today I have had 4 different associates in one 20 minute chat. They have no direct phone lines out of their offices to their third party couriers and have to rely on a messaging service which we all know when it’s a busy time of year no one checks. I was told that the chosen courier would respond sometime today, they were supposed to have been here by now ! If you contact the courier directly, because you have a Parcel Monkey order number, they will refer you back to Parcel Monkey, a company with no phone lines and an endless supply of Live Chat associates who cannot find a way to solve the problems and get action for you - they just keep apologising. I was told to keep watching my ‘dashboard’ for notes from Parcel Monkey with updates on my query. Its really not good enough, they take your money for a service and then cant follow through with the appropriate level of support to give you peace of mind. My recommendation would be NEVER to use Parcel Monkey and to go to the couriers directly.

Very quick pick up, web page is easy to use, arrived at our destination within 2 days. We have used parcel monkey numerous times and will continue too. Everything arrived undamaged ( the parcels contain glass in both )

Appalling service, arranged for collection of a very large parcel today that I was assured would be collected today. However its now way past the latest collection time and is obviously not getting collected. After talking to the support team I was told that they are unable to help with any collections once theyre arranged, so once youve paid up they dont care about any issues you may have with their service. Not happy at all.

Second time I have e had a parcel contents damaged. This time was well packed but still must have been thrown around with some force and total lack of care .

Sent a large parcel to Lithuania and it arrived in a few days, no problems. We dropped it off at Matalan which was easy too. We have previously used Parcel Monkey and Royal Mail. The two previous parcels with Parcel Monkey both arrived in time although one was stuck somewhere in Vilnuis for a couple of weeks. It did eventually get delivered before Christmas. That is the reason for four stars and not five. We were able to add more in the box as the weight limit allowed for that, We went with DPD. I would definitely use this service with Parcel Monkey again. It saved us money and allowed us to send more items.

Did not collect as scheduled online, had to re-arrange a second collection. Collection times were only confirmed the second time. Collection never actually happened during those times, drive was 3 hours late. Driver failed to provide plastic wallet for customs invoice. Additional charges were required, as the parcels stated volumetric weight didnt match their volumetric weight. (However, All calculation were followed as per website instructions), so unsure as to why the additional charge. It was only a few pounds extra so didnt mind all too much. Now, they are requesting an additional customs invoice to declare the nominal value of the parcel and its contents. When original customs slip stored on the website and attached to the parcel declare this in full with a break down of each item and their nominal value. (As per booking instructions). Shipment is meant to take 3-5 working days, currently on day 7 working days and the parcel hasnt even been delivered yet.
