Booking of the parcel was very straightforward, and the item was delivered well within the quoted delivery period - no hassle at the Post Office on dropping the parcel off, and the tracking service worked really well.

Parcel was not collected on the day it was meant to be collected. Parcel Monkey simply apologised and rescheduled parcel to be picked up another day. Blamed the courier company - DPD. I now have to reprint labels etc. as there is a change in tracking details due to change in pick up date. Just an inconvenience... Lets see if parcel is collected tomorrow - wont hold my breath. I will not use parcel monkey again nor DPD again. I do however realize why they are called Parcel Monkey now..!

Do not use this company! Booked next day collections paid over £30 to get something to Australia. Got email from Parcel Monkey telling me DPD would pick itup on the day I booked it. It wasnt. As per Parcel Moneky instructions I didnt contact DPD direct. I contacted Parcel Monkey (had to wait until next day as no out of hours number) They dont know why courier didnt pick it up and cant tell me what time its going to be picked up today. I booked the 3-5 day service and already one of the days is taken up in the collection not happening. Customer service is pointless if theyre not going to chase the courier for why it wasnt collected. No offer of compensation even though they failed to deliver the booked for and paid for service. They tell me Parcel Monkey are a price comparison site but I paid them and the emails come from them. This was an expensive mistake that ultimately will fail to deliver my parcel in time for its planned use.

Would not use again Booked a 24-hour service through them for two parcels being sent to the same address and one arrived 72 hours after booking and the other 96 hours after booking. The parcels contained wedding stationery for a destination wedding and needed to arrive before the couple left. The second parcel arrived a day before they were due to leave so was cutting it very fine and was stressful for me and my customer. Parcel Monkey were less than helpful when I spoke to them on their online chat to ask if the second parcel would be delivered in time, simply saying follow the tracking to get updates. I ended up dealing with the courier direct myself. Therefore it is simply pointless booking through Parcel Monkey, might as well just book direct with courier as they offer you no support when parcels are late.

The service is very good and you dont necessary need to go to the Post Office as they collect the parcels at home. The prices are also very competitive. I rate 4 stars just because you dont know when the driver comes to collect the items, you have to be available between 8am and 6pm...

So, recently I had 25 items listed on eBay and at first I would trudge down to the Post Office, wait in line and then pay a fortune to send a parcel.
Then I discovered Parcel Monkey. I now package items, weigh and measure them, print the label and drop them off at either a local store, chemist or a Post Office.
Without fail I have saved money on postage every time. The difference has been quite a large amount, compared to what I was paying over the counter at the Post Office.
Parcel Monkey is great, highly recommended!

Absolutely terrible service. Worst I have ever encountered. Paid for a 2 day delivery. First courier collected (a day late) with no problem. The second courier damaged it and then said it was badly packed. Waiting 25 days now to have it returned and after 51 over and back messages Im being told I may have to wait another 21 days. Cant actually get to speak to anyone. Extremely frustrating

Courier didn’t turn up, I had to make the journey to pick up the item. They tried to charge me a cancellation fee then took over two weeks to refund me. Avoid if you can

Horrible experiencia la mia, llevo dos meses escribiendo para que me den mi dinero de vuelta ya que nadie ha recogido los paquetes, no paran de ponerme problemas para todo , estoy harta. no vuelvo a utilizar esto mas . PACkLINK te devuelve el dinero en menos d una semana y puedes contactar con ellos directamente. Y voy a seguir dando mala puntuación en todas las redes sociales hasta que me devolváis mi dinero.

Monday morning, used ParcelMonkey to select delivery service for shipment of a parcel to Italy via ParcelForce. Monday late afternoon, took parcel to the Post Office for drop-off. Thursday lunchtime, parcel delivered. Great service. Well done ParcelForce; well done ParcelMonkey!

Really, really easy to use and the value is incredible.
I took my package to the Post Office on a Tuesday and was given a quote for £67 for the service I needed. Via ParcelMonkey, the exact same package, using the exact same service (ParcelForce to Italy) cost £18.99 TOTAL. I had to drop it at the Post Office--actually handing it to the same person who had quoted £67--but that took 10 minutes.

I sent some equipment to Hungary which was a sturdy electronic unit built to withstand a fair degree of abuse and well packaged. My customer reported that the unit would not work and removed the cover to discover one of the wires to on/off switch was detached and the transformer had been knocked sideways. The unit was perfect and checked before packaging and it is clear that the parcel was physically abused and thrown around by DPD. Fragile labels were all over the parcel- terrible service I will never use them again

The website is reasonably user friendly and it was convenient to drop the parcel off via a local shop. However I was extremely disappointed to be retrospectively charged an additional fee of around 25% of the original fee. Had I known this in advance I would have used an alternative carrier.

I had used Parcel Monkey a couple of times without problems. However at the beginning of September I sent another parcel to my daughter in France. This was due to be delivered on Wednesday 11th September. My daughter was at home and saw the DPD delivery van from her upstairs window. The driver did not stop to deliver and did not call her by phone. We were both then notified that there were problems finding the address and further information was requested by the courier. Despite providing this I was told the parcel was being sent back to the UK. By the beginning of October it had not arrived so I began chasing the agent, Parcel Monkey. I was politely told they were pursuing DPD for an update as to its whereabouts. Later I was asked to complete a claim from and provide receipts. This I did but was then told as I had not paid to insure the parcel I would only receive a refund of the cost of carriage. A few days later I received an apology and was told my case was being investigated. A couple more days passed then another apology to say again just a refund of the carriage. Since the courier, DPD did not contact my daughter and did not attempt a second delivery as their contract promises, I think I should be reimbursed for the cost of the goods which DPD have lost! By entering a google enquiry, I was able to access a map of my daughters address together with an image of the property. If I could do this why couldnt DPD.
