Having used Parcel monkey on numerous occasions to send parcels to our son in Italy I am always delighted and astonished at the speed of the delivery. We handed the parcel to the Royal Mail guy on Monday lunchtime and it arrived Friday at the same time in Italy..7.5 kg for £19.00...Amazing.

Sent a 2 parcels to the value of £415 to Greece almost a month ago and the tracking via parcel force shows that the parcels are held in the UK being held for export which has been the case since 2nd March 2020. Parcel Monkey have said that the parcels have already been exported to Greece and they are investigating the matter. This has been the same response now for 2 weeks. They wont give me a claim form and they havent updated me further on my parcels. Terrible customer service. Ive purchased insurance for both but they refuse to start a claim. Ridiculous as i now risk losing a new customer as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you read my previous reviews on this company, you would see that nobody is actually dealing with any issues. Even my last post was predictably replied to in their standard manner of asking for a PM number to give the appearance that they are dealing with the issue but nobody actually is. I submitted the PM number and had no response. The address that they give for complaints is not accepting mail either as I have had a tracked mail returned because there was no reply. My communication through their portal is exactly the same - they give responses which prove that they are not actually reading any messages but posting standard replies which give the false impression that they are handling it.

I booked a delivery on the 6th of April with collection by ParcelFarce on the 7th. The service from ParcelFarce was International Priority. The parcel has still not been delivered as of the 23rd of April. To date, I have exchanged messages from FIVE different people at Parcel Monkey regarding the non-delivery and nonsensical tracking status of my parcel. None of them has a clue as to what is happening. On one message, they gave me a new ParcelFarce tracking number. I now have two different ParcelFarce tracking numbers for my one parcel. Parcel Monkey send mostly copy and paste answers to enquiries. Ive also been told that I cannot start a claim for compensation until the parcel has been delivered. Yes, really! Here is the salient part of the message: "We will have to wait for the parcel to be delivered first before we can raise a claim on this". Stop and think about that for a minute! I think that tells you all you need to know about their customer support. The recipient of my parcel is now asking me daily as to where the parcel is and both of the ParcelFarce tracking numbers show different tracking events that make no sense whatsoever, so I have no idea. Even worse than Parcel Monkeys complete lack of customer service skills is the reviews for ParcelFarce on TrustPilot. I wish I had read those reviews before opting to use them via Parcel Monkey. It has been a catalogue of disasters and I am sure that when it is time to make a claim, Parcel Monkey will do their utmost to avoid paying out.

I have always had a good experience with PM, until the last time I used them sending a parcel to France. Through no fault of PM, DPD delivered the parcel but for some reason the driver didnt sign on behalf of the customer. My initial communication with PM said the parcel had not been delivered, but through simple investigation on my part - I confirmed it had. Issue over? Alas no. I have received regular messages from PM over the last few weeks, and each time its someone different. Each time I tell them the parcel has been received, and not to worry. Each time this simple message isnt understood. So, the saga continues.... The website is easy to use and I have sent numerous packages through them, each time no problem. However dont use the customer service team, the service is beyond bad, it is absolutely shocking.

Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Charges a premium for insurance and doesn’t honour claims. Lost £200 as a result. Beware.

The parcel sent to Brussels with a delivery attempt at 8.45 am!! was returned to me without contacting the receiver or scheduling a new delivery. The offices were of course closed at 8.45 am, with a clear warning for opening hours on the door. No effort made.

A complete shambles. Parcel monkey openly lie about the parcel delays and cant dig themselves out of a whole when their lies are exposed. They refuse to log a complaint and manage the concerns. If you have to use this service, please hope nothing goes wrong as they dont care. Once they have your money they couldnt care less about you as a customer or your customers who are waiting for their parcels. I appreciate we are in unprecedented times and that the delays arent of their doing, however the lack transparency and honesty in dealing with the situation and prefer to fabricate chain of events and then try and lie their way out of the horrible mess they have created.
