It was easy to follow the instructions and cost about half the price of Royal Mail. I didnt quite grasp the bit about sticking the whole printout on the parcel and the nice man at the post office charged me 99p for some sellotape to do that - live and learn.
It arrived on time for Christmas and everyone was happy.

Due to new last minute covid restrictions, we were left with trying to get a big box stuffed with the familys Xmas presents delivered 300 miles away. I went onto Parcel Monkeys site on Sat 19th Dec, found it simple to find the right parcel delivery company at a good price. Parcel Monkey booked a collection for Monday, and the box was delivered on Wed 23rd Dec. Brilliant service and at least our grandchildren got their gifts, even if we couldnt get to see each other.

Excellent service except when they text to give you a time for pick up, it gives you an hour slot, so I went out back in plenty time but they had arrived 10 mins ahead of me, 25 mins before estimated time slot. Had 1 hour slot the next day so didnt go out, they came 25 mins before slot. Why not give a 2 or 3 hour time slot so no confusion!!.

The parcel has not arrived.... apparently it was damaged whilst in Germany, then shipped to Hungary for no apparent reasons ... and back to Germany where the tracking stopped on the 23rd December. No presents for Christmas for my family. Not impressed.

I sent my parcel 16 December assumed that it will reach to its destination before Christmas now its nearly 10 days n still we don’t know where my parcel is.. very disappointed ruined kids Christmas present....

I have never written a review before but feel compelled to share the awful experience I have had with ParcelMonkey. I returned something using their next day service at the beginning of December. Unfortunately the recipient claimed not to have received it, so I requested proof of delivery from Parcel Monkey, which they sent to me. However the ‘proof’ is just a line in the signature box; nowhere is there an actual signature or even a name to confirm who signed for the item. All I get when I email ParcelMonkey is ‘we are checking with the courier’, which is all very well but weeks have now passed and I am getting nowhere. In the meantime, I can’t get my money back from the recipient as I have no evidence the parcel was ever delivered and the insurance I got through Parcel Monkey appears to be useless. On principle, and the basis that they cannot apparently prove that my parcel was delivered to an appropriate person at the correct location, I am considering making a claim with the small claims court and PayPal for the amount I paid to them. There is no way to contact them via phone to speak to an actual human being either so I am completely stuck with their very unhelpful email responses. Please avoid the mistake I made and go to the courier directly!

Good as always - live chat was very helpful when I needed to contact support. Would suggest investing in creating an application on iOS & Android as competitors do have that and it’s a lot more user-friendly and easier as majority of my parcel bookings were done via my phone.
