No communication to inform me that the parcel sent - which is a gift - has been held up in Customs. I dont. know why it has? Its a coat and pyjamas to a family friend in Paris France. I found it difficult to follow this up and Im not happy as the parcel still has NOT arrived. I get an email to see what I think of Parcel Monkey, when the parcel is still not delivered. Poor. Poor. Poor

The parcel was delivered exceptionally quickly from the uk to
mainland Spain but once it arrived at its destination they were expected to pay €45 before the parcel could be handed over. I think this should be made aware of before you commit to posting to Spain

I dropped off a 1.5kg parcel at the Post Office on December 17th to be sent to the Republic of Ireland and have been unable to get correct information from this company, they claim that it is waiting to be scanned. I accept that Covid and some transport issues might be responsible, however, this was sold as a 48 hour delivery service. It is now 19 days and Parcel Force (the courier service used) has not updated their tracking and incoherent messages are being sent by Parcel Monkey - avoid this appalling Company

sent a pair of boots and a birthday card for a weight of 1.5kg, but put down 3kg instead as ive been caught out before where they were lying saying the package was heavier and charged me extra. received an email to advise of an extra charge for this box, which as per usual surprised me again. I queried it and was advised that the box was not 3kg, but weighed 8kg!!!!! this is a clear indication that someone has made a mistake somewhere but these were simple womens boots!! the box weighed 1.5kg MAX (WHO WOULD WEAR BOOTS THAT WEIGH 4KG EACH!?). I have been asked for photo evidence, why dont they show their own evidence! Why is the consumer asked for proof?! I have had several charges over the last 2 years for things that i didnt agree with or thought were wrong. But this is the last straw. Never using Parcel Monkey again, youve lost a repeat customer ! Happy New Year !!

My parcel is STUCK after being exported to Ireland I have been tracking since Christmas it hasn’t moved yet you were happy to charge for a minor mistake I made with measurements. My family also had to Pay duty online yet nothing has happened I am furious and it was a very special gift for my Father.

Это ужасно!Лгут что получатель отказался от посылки но посылку даже не доставили в конечный пункт, в тот город куда я отправляла!Они не хотят с этим разбираться и деньги не возвращают!Также выбирала упаковку в пленку но они этого не сделали!!Никогда больше не воспользуюсь этой отвратительной конторой, по-другому не назовешь!!

Sent a package to Slovenia from the UK and it didnt even leave the UK as DPD dont like shipping returns to Amazon and so it was returned back to me. This is not a joke. No refund and they didnt have anything on their website at the booking stage saying they wouldnt deliver to Amazon! As far as they are concerned as long as DPD collected it they are allowed to keep the money! Nice little earner if you can get away with it I guess.

UK side was OK once you get to grips with customs forms. You should try to give better expected delivery dates . We sent 2 identical parcels to Amsterdam , 1 arrived late the 2nd is sill in customs (so now is 11days+ overdue)

Shockingly bad service from this company. Its not that they dont respond to customers, but they have a really bad communication process with couriers so cant provide any useful information if something goes wrong. Ive been in regular communication with the customer care team for two weeks and am no closer to reaching a resolution, or having my package delivered or returned. I shipped a package with them over two weeks ago using Courier two-day shipping. I anticipated some delays as it was a week before Christmas, but nothing this bad. They asked for customs forms in advance, but clearly they dont check them as there was supposedly a customs issue with my package, leading it to be trapped at the depot for the past two weeks. They have been unable to provide any useful information to me since, beyond saying that the package will be sent back to me, but with no clarity as to when. It may well have been a mistake on my side, even though I believe I filled everything out correctly, but it seems totally unreasonable to hold the package for so long. This was a package of Christmas gifts for my family, so I am understandably keen to get it back and re-send it with another provider, but I truly have no idea when this is going to be, or if I will even get it.

Not that it didnt work, got a cheaper price and the parcel was delivered. I just couldnt sign into my parcel monkey account for love nor money, tried so many times, changed password etc. If there had been a problem, I would have been stuffed.

Do not even deserve 1 star they managed to allow the carrier to loose my parcel, then couldnt even be bothered to try locate it. Never got a refund because I had no proof of purchase, they were not new items, but still have value, because they now need to be replaced. DO NOT USE THEM, THEY ARE DODGY.

I booked a collection of two parcels for next day collection - waited for two days with no sign of the courier and no communication from Parcel Monkey. When I contacted them on livechat to ask why the parcels had not been collected, the response was that they didnt know why they hadnt been collected, and that they are just a comparison site and not the courier, so its basically not their problem. As the Parcel Monkey website says to go through them and not the courier for any issues, not sure what else I was supposed to do to chase things up, but the customer service wasnt great - no attempt to find out what the issue was, and no apology for the time Id wasted waiting in for the collection. Parcels were finally collected on the third day and delivered without issue - have used Parcel Monkey before with no issue and thought they were great, so hopefully this is a one off. Will think twice about using them in future though, based on this experience.n

The tracking shows that a delivery was attempted. The driver did not attempt as I was waiting and checking outside. No call no card. The day after I was checking the tracking and same think happened. My husband saw the red van and stopped it. The driver told him, that he has to swipe because there were too much deliveries. He took my parcel then It is unacceptable to pay for a service we don’t get

I have used Parcel Monkey a few times to send presents to my Daughter in Dubai - never been a problem. However, this time my daughter was asked and paid extra funds, at her door, by the courier. I also was advised of an extra charge which was debited from my card. I have emailed them to say we have been charged twice, but no response. Im disappointed to be honest as I have recommended them several times.

Parcel Monkey is an excellent Parcel Intermediary negotiating good prices with some of the countrys main carriers: on their site you make your choice of carrier and the price you pay. Awful service, could not provide the service paid for with not even an offer of a refund either, never again will I use this company. Booked and paid next day delivery before Christmas. Arranged plenty early enough on the 22nd for the parcel to be due for collection the next day - 23rd - and so a delivery could be made on Christmas Eve the 24th. Spent all day waiting, no courier turned up (Courier) It gets to 17:30 and I decide to reach out… unable to deal directly with the courier the problem began, here came the standard sorry nobody showed up, you need to reschedule malarkey from the website so also sent an email to customer service. Despite fully understanding that the collection had been missed there was no care, no offer of any rectification and again simply said it would need to be rebooked BUT because of the time of year it now wouldn’t arrive until the 29th… making it a full 7 days after booking. Not what I contracted to or paid for and another example of why if using courier services pay the courier directly and deal direct. This firm is aptly named… legend says it’s because they genuinely don’t give a monkeys ????
