Booked a large parcel with this service, costing over £35, using Parcelfarce 48, be collected on the 14th July. When 6pm came and nobody had come to collect, i phoned parcelfarce to see what was happening. They informed me that they had been and that no-one was in. Impossible i said, as we had been in all day and asked to check which address they had called at, which it turns out wasnt my house number and was a ficticious one, as the house number quoted doesnt exist on this street. Not impressed with their incompetence i re-booked collection for the next day, baring in mind the 15th was my birthday to which i had taken the day off work to enjoy having a meal with friends and family, and let them know this so would appreciate an early collection....... Finally turned up at 4pm on the 15th!!!!!! Birthday meal had to be cancelled and waited in all day for these clowns, wasting a rest day off work too!!!!! Impressed i am not and will probably NEVER use parcel monkey or parcelfarce ever again....thanks for a memorable 43rd birthday!!!!!!! Made a right monkey of me.

The object to book a parcel delivery is for the parcel to be collected on the day booked. If this doesnt happen you would expect the booking company to take control, not with Parcel Monkey. I spent a lot of time trying to get Parcel Monkey to sort it out, which they wouldnt and didnt. I had to contact Parcel Force office 4 times before I could contact my local office then I had to contact my local Parcel Force office a further 5 times before the parcel was collect 24 hours late. SERVICE WAS RUBBISH I ENDED UP LOSING A DAYS WAGES AS I HAD TO STAY IN WAITING FOR PARCEL FORCE. THE PARCEL WAS COLLECTED AT 17.30, after calling the local office yet again at 17.00. NEVER NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS RUBBISH COMPANY.

I selected a service where no printing of shipping labels was required. Then about an hour later, I received an email saying I must print out labels. That was confusing, so I had to call. But there was no way to talk with anybody on the phone. So then I got on a webchat with a rep there who said no worries, the label was not required after all. So, some programming for automated messages is in order. And it would be nice if there was a way to call when there are problems. Other than that, the service was just fine. On time, and delivered as promised.

Tried this company for the first time and was delighted with the ease of booking my parcel. I had to settle for a printer free transaction as my husband needed ours at work that week. This did limit my choice of couriers but I was very happy with the quote. Would recommend to anyone.

Super easy to arrange. I could send up to 31kg to Spain for just over 20 pounds. Ryanair charges 35 pounds to fly a 20kg suitcase. Will definitely use again. Would recommend this service.

My friend received a wrong parcel and a few hours later the correct one from me. I spent over an hour on the phone to sort it out, Parcelforce were useless. She now has to sort it out locally to send the incorrect parcel back, which I am not happy about. I think things went wrong with Parcelforce and they put the same sticker on 2 parcels. Not happy.

Having dealt with courier companies before I was not expecting any sort of responsive customer support with Parcel Monkey. So it was a shock to find that the company actually went the extra mile to retrieve and then return my lost package. At every stage the support staff kept me informed (thanks Stefan!) and the result was a very happy customer, instead of an angry one. Great work, guys. Seriously.

The shipment to Austria via DPD failed inspite the full detail of the customer was given via follow up email, there was no help from DPD or parcel monkey. Now the package is being returned, am so unhappy and wont be using this service again.

I have now used Parcel Monkey twice and on both occasions their service was very good. Parcel sent from Manchester to Switzerland. Picked up from my house, delivered to my friend 4 days later. On line tracking let me see the progress it was making. Great service.

Parcel Monkey as a concept is very good but do not choose the DX option for your courier. DX are hopeless. I have given them benefit of the doubt 3 times and been let down every time. ENOUGH is ENOUGH

The collection driver told me that it was not necessary to attach a customs invoice. My parcel was rejected by DPD due to this. Parcel monkey now informed me I have to pay to get my parcel returned. Unhelpful and very disappointing company.

Collection and delivery went smoothly without problems. Booking direct with Parcelforce is so much more exepensive

Delivered my parcel to the wrong address, was signed for by someone at the wrong address. When the recipient finally contacted me to ask if I had shipped the item I raised a query with PM. They started an investigation with the carrier. They sent me a photograph of the wrong door and GPS co-ordinates of the wrong house, along with a random signature. They then made me wait for over 1 month while "investigating" the problem. Always had to chase, until eventually they said they will not assist me because I didnt contact them within the stipulated 7 days. It took them 1 month to give me this answer and still no explanation of why the parcel was delivered to the totally wrong address. I asked for escalation to a manager and just get totally ignored. NO PHONE NUMBERS EITHER! Absolutely shocking service, will NEVER use them again and I advise people considering PM to look at other carriers who offer these services direct to public - this way, when it does go wrong, you can deal with the carrier directly. PM are rubbish and offer nothing unique any more.

As usual very easy to use Parcel Monkey also great help from one of their call centre reps. Sadly despite paying extra for 24 hour service ParcelForce took 50 hours to deliver.

Easy comparison, and all pretty smooth, except the emails saying "you have a collection today" and "the driver will bring the label with them" contradicted the "print out at home and drop off at the depot" product Id chosen...
