It was Friday afternoon and I was desperate to get a document to Spain for Tuesday. Parcel Monkey said it could do this and that it could do pick ups on Saturday. The document eventually got there on Thursday. While I appreciate that it is not be completely down to Parcel Monkey, but rather the companies they use, I chose and paid for 2 days for delivery and was sorely disappointed.

I was surprised when it said 3 days to get to England from Japan and wasnt expecting it to actually be 3 days. Absolutely perfect service

Been using parcel monkey for a few years. Recently sent an ebay item to France, took images on my kitchen scale. They came back with another charge saying it was 4Kg (PM7272093). In the same month I was already having trouble with them as a buyer paid for next day delivery. I was quoted Courier, collected Friday, delivered Monday. Buyer asked for refund and I was left holding the monkey, out of pocket. Told none of their next day services deliver on Saturday unless you pay extra for it (PM7284696). So that lead on to me not using ParcelMonkey in future but I had a problem, they had recorded by CC on file. No way from control panel to remove, this has to be a GDPR issue. Told only way to stop people sending stuff in my account was to have it removed or update the card details with another card (I dont have one). Opted for account remove. There are a ton of other cheap parcel people all doing the same thing why give these guys your money?

A parcel has been missing for a month and half. It has been a slow painful process to get any information to find out where the parcel is. Parcel monkey advised it was under investigation but did not respond for 2 weeks when I had to go back to them. After advising I would be contacted within the day, no one responded. I have now had to take it to the next level and make an insurance claim for them. Im hoping this is a quicker process and we will get a satisfactory outcome promptly

DHL did not collect on the day promised with no explanation. They did collect the next day. Poor communication.
However, our overall experience with Parcel Monkey is excellent.

This company can not be trusted with your parcel, Go directly through the crourier. Parcelforce lost my delivery and agreed to this in December, 6 months later after constantly trying to get information with no actual method of contact with parcel monkey (live chat with bots) they have closed my claim as unsuccessful with no reason given. even when the crourier admits liability. I am not the only person to experience this treatment and to be pushed aside with no options to contact parcel monkey

This company is DISHONEST! Do not use them. I used them to have 4 canvas flown from the UK to Uganda, which was supposed to take 3-4 days, it took 8. (Which I complained about - no response) The canvases were weighed and were just under 10Kg, I marked it as 12kg on the order to be on the safe side. I have just received an email stating that these 4 canvas, weighed 23kg and they are taking extra money from my card. When the parcel eventually arrived I walked home with it carry it one handed, which means I am insanely strong on this company is incredibly dishonest. I will be disputing this with my card company as a fraudulent act. But wanted everyone else to BE AWARE!!!

This is the 3rd time parcle monkey has messed up my deliveries! Last delivery was not collected, no phone call or email to inform me, I contacted customer service and they canceled my order. This time round 2 of my parcles are lost and I have no clue where they are, if they have been collected or whether they will be returned to me!? Will not be using them in the future and I highly recommend others to stay away.

I can post Bottles of Wine on Parcelforce.com direct without contravening any of their policies..I cannot post bottles of Port Wine using Parcelforce through Parcelmonkey.Both Parcelforce services are identical.All Parcelmonkey say is that alcohol is prohibited.Parcelmonkey refuse to accept any logical reason to change their policy.That is their loss.Totally uncompromising

Unbelievably bad service, my parcel never arrived. Contacted customer service and never got answer about what happened to it. Told them what was in the parcel for insurance claim. I had to submit all receipts only to be told it wasn’t covered. Made a complaint customer service said they would look into it and i would be kept up to date. Never heard from them again, and now somewhat predictably no response to emails. Rubbish

Simple transaction with easy to follow instructions, and a really great price, as much as 50% below going direct in my example. Really a good service with many options. I do like to options and the ability vo used my preferred carrier and avoid the weaker ones

Totally appalling service, parcel of a value of £950 lost on the 4th March and I’m still chasing for compensation and the service money back, spent hours on the phone and numerous emails but knowone seems to care or want to resolve the issue, I will never use the service again and am going to continue to fight for my money to be returned, totally disgusted ex customer!

Horrendous service. Took a week of calling repeatedly for them to collect the parcel. Completely disrupted my time. Constant promises that someone would contact me but no one ever did. Thoroughly unhelpful customer serviced staff who couldn’t do anything to help. Awful experience and would never use again.

Getting much better a lot of companies sent you a text to let you know round about what time your parcel should arrive Id like to see this happening instead of waiting the person around to collect parcel its getting better in the way the parcels seems to be arriving in better condition then previously so not throwing about is appreciated

Based on this particular order I have given 5 stars, because I was able to send my large parcel by Royal Mail with very competetive price.
However when I tried to use the service again, the prices were extremely high.

Easy booking with excellent price / service from UK to France.
It would have taken 2 days for a 20Kg parcel to reach me in France, except that the local delivery service (the French Post Office) decided to deliver it to a local collection point.
