Follow up review. Twenty four hours after courier was supposed to collect parcel. A courier arrives claiming that he was only informed of pick up one hour before. After asking twice for a refund of fee paid to Parcel Monkey I receive a third letter asking if my parcel had been collected. Informed Parcel Monkey representative that if I couldnt trust their carrier to pick up my parcel on time, how was I supposed to trust that it would arrive there one time, if it arrives at all!! On third time of asking I am still awaiting a refund from Parcel Monkey.

Terrible customer service. I booked a delivery with Parcelforce for an item I sold via EBay they damaged then when I booked a return via Parcelforce they Lost the parcel. Parcel Monkey refused The claim as I could not provide photos of the damage and that I never had proof of shipping. ( client lost slip) Parcel Force have logged the item as a loss. Delivered to Amazon warehouse by mistake. I have Written at least 30 emails to PM trying to explain. You get the same cut and paste Response and a terrible level of customer service. Yes they are cost effective, but will do everything in their power to refuse damage and loss claims, not point in using their insurance as they simply ignore you or keep asking for information that is hard to obtain, at which point your 14 day claim period runs out. I used to use this service regularly posting about a dozen items a month. Their rates are good. The trouble is as soon as Parcel Force see a PM label you package seems to be abused or delivered late. No point in Using the 24 hour service as it will arrive At the same time as 48 hour, normally 3/4 days or longer. You will receive a cut and paste response if you complain about late Delivery, “ not contracted on times , read terms and conditions “ Now this comment will receive a cut and paste response from the Monkeys. Telling me to contact their CS team. I have tried and tried dozens of times to contact you and explain in Plain English not to complicated problemsYour response is miserably incompetent. Beyond terrible. Sell a bad product then hide.

Website difficult to understand/use. Constantly changing the availability of parcel delivery companies. The tracker took 26 hours to be updated. I wouldn’t use parcel monkey again.

The service is great until it leaves the UK, the French are at best sketchy and dont keep up the tracking, leaving the recipient to guess the time and date of delivery.
The pricing is very competitive!

I paid to have my parcel collected from my home address pre 10:30, to which I started work late to ensure I could hand over but the driver didnt attend, I have since seen three emails regarding different times however these were out with the scheduled delivery which I paid additional cost for. disappointed as I needed this IT equipment delivered to be returned back to me later in the week which I didnt ,meet my deadline meaning one of my team had no IT equipment for a week.

This is the second time I have used Parcel Monkey: I have found them to be efficient, helpful and reasonably priced.
I registered my parcel on Wednesday, delivered it to the courier in the UK the same day and it was delivered to my home in SW France the following Tuesday am.
The first time I had a query re my parcel, which was quickly resolved, so I was quite happy with that.
I like the fact I don’t have to research individual courier companies in order to find the best option.
Overall, for me, it is a good way to get items delivered from the UK to France.

Avoid!!!! They r thief. Terrible service. Some of my items been stolen. I send my parcel and paid extra to cover for lost and damaged item. But they will never work for it when u claim! Avoid!!!

Failed to show up two days straight to collect a parcel for delivery to Ireland. Rescheduled the pick up date with clear instructions that pick-up must be after a certain time in the day ( 2 days wasted already waiting for them to arrive, no communication from them to advise they werent coming). Couldnt guarantee the courier would not show up before the advised time despite being told nobody would be home to hand over the package. Ended up cancelling the order. Very poor service and not very customer focused. Look elsewhere for a reliable courier service.

Will never trust nor use this company again. We arranged to collect a parcel from a supplier, they gave us the dimensions and weight and we put it into parcel monkey and booked collection at £18.88. Two weeks later we got a message saying courier had deemed the parcel we entered as 9.6KG as being 10KG and we our card had been charged another £52. If you want ripped off then use parcel monkey. They were quick to take this money from us over a few grams but when they lost a £400 parcel we shipped to Spain a year ago they were in no rush to compensate us. We argued with them that the parcel was fully tracked and THEY lost it. This is basically a joke of a service with hidden charges everywhere, and an attitude that says get lost if, ironically, your parcel gets lost or damaged.
