Slow to respond to customer service issues and if your parcel is damaged or lost good luck getting compensation at all! Useless, just avoid them and save yourself the pain.

Read the fine print before you pay. I paid for a service thinking that I’d be able to set the pick-up time, but afterwards realized that the service I selected only provided a very wide window (8 am to 6 pm). My fault for not looking into this sooner, but ParcelMonkey could do more to improve transparency.

Delivery notes and receiver’s phone number were not passed through the system to Parcel Force resulting in two aborted deliveries, several emails and a long a phone call.

Okay but... Pros- -quite good value, parcel got picked up and delivered quickly, support team answered promptly. Cons- unable to give time of pick up, had to stay in from 9am to 5pm, Parcel Monkey support could not help, courier helpline charged £2.60 a minute...i dont think so.

Paid for 2 day delivery priority and parcel was 5 days late. Cant speak on the phone to anyone, live chat took 30 minutes for a reply once conversation started. Do Not Use

Parcel Monkeys site is easy to use & there are lots of options re price
& quickness of delivery to choose from. I used DHL again & parcel was collected mid afternoon & delivered next morning. How good is that. So far I am happy to use Parcel Monkey & recommend them.

I have been working with parcel monkey for the better part of 2 years. Their prices are reasonable but I have found them lacking in their response times and their ability to help with matters involving solving delivery issues due to them being a third party in the process of the delivery. The fact that you have to communicate with them who in turn chase the couriers causes everything to be extremely dragged out and ineffective at remedying issues promptly which is unacceptable when trying to run a business. I have had real issues with parcels being delivered in very poor condition due to the inappropriate handling of packages that are marked as fragile and found that they will do just about anything to avoid paying any form of compensation under these circumstances. You would be better working directly with the courier than going through this service.

Where do I begin? I have lost count of the number of parcels I have sent from Greater Manchester to rural France in the Dordogne. Collect Tuesday morning and delivered to France on Thursday lunchtime. Brilliant and have recommended Parcel Monkey to a number of my friends.

USA PM WITH CAUTION I have used PM before and they were ok. However, recently I returned an item using their service. Sadly, I did not follow up fast enough with either the retailer or PM - in fact I could not do so as I was waiting to see the money come back on to my credit card. When I did follow up to say that the parcel had gone astray, I was told they would look in to it. A month later I had no reply, so I chased them again. At this point after the query was escalated, PM said you only have 10 business days to report something as not delivered, or else you cant claim. In fact the Post Office said it was delivered but the retailer said it wasnt. So Im screwed by a retailer who is most likely being dishonest and PM who dont give a monkeys!! USE PM WITH CAUTION.

It’s a total nightmare to get my messages across to parcel monkey???? I won’t be using you again. It was impossible to change collection address with ye, I sent a couple of emails, no response for the past 4days.

I received a invoice from Parcel Monkey for £52.60 saying my parcel was overweight. However their invoice stated the Declared Weight was 50Kg and the Actual Weight was 20Kg. I did point this out to their customer services who said they would not refund the charge. Even though their invoice says my parcel was under the declared weight. This is a complete scam, they said the charge was made by the courier but do not provide any proof to back it up and then have the cheek to send an invoice that shows the parcel was under the declared weight.

Sorry that you have been confronted with this additional charge.
Any additional charges come from the courier who laser measure the dimensions and weight of all of the parcels. If the dimensions are out or the weight is stated incorrectly at the time of booking, this can give an incorrect volumetric weight. The carrier then invoices us for the extra physical/volumetric weight and we pass this charge down to you.
We will be happy to help you dispute this charge with the courier if you can provide proof of the dimensions and weight.

The problem with Parcel Monkey is that they do not take responsibility when a package arrives late. I have sent a number of packages to Holland from the UK -- either with DPD or Parcel Force through Parcel Monkey and none of them arrived within the dates advertised (1-2 days). When I complained to Parcel Monkey they blame the courier (and vice-versa) which is convenient for both sides but not the customer. If you really need something to be delivered on time -- do not trust the delivery times advertised.

I sent Easter Eggs to my grandchildren in Austria on 10th April. Ive just found out theyre still in the UK depot. What a bunch of Apes these people are. Its taken them 5 days to figure out where the parcel is - PM used to be great but by golly theyve gone right down hill with their customer service.
