Beware, if your parcel goes missing the carrier redirects you to Parcel Monkey, who refuse compensation as item (plant) is on their extensive prohibited list. Contents were accurately entered during booking and I was never told plants were prohibited. I have spent hours on phone to UPS (Useless Parcel Service) who finally tracked item after 3 weeks and their idea of returning to sender is not the senders name on the label, but to Parcel Monkey and if you would like to have your missing parcel returned they charge an admin fee (£8) plus postage again! Great scam for rewarding incompetent companies. I will stick with Royal Mail from now on

I paid for Fedex next day. I then drove to a drop off point and attempted drop off. They bizarrely didnt tell me that was not possible, costing me fuel and time. It also meant the parcel would not get there the next day. I then dropped it off the following day after having to waste my time badgering Parcel Monkey, where they eventually gave me an alternative barcode. This should have been delivered the next day. It wasnt. Not only have I paid for a service I havent received, Ive wasted a considerable amount of time and money running around trying to get it sent. Dont waste your time or money, my advice would be to use their service to find out whats cheapest then go direct, cutting out the part that might end up biting you.

Charged me an extra £19 two weeks later with phony accusations of weight and dimensions were incorrect! Ive been sending items through the post for 2 decades. I thought parcel monkey was great but turns out they ate lying thieves????

Booked a collection for Parcel Force, Package was returned as a prohibited item. Wasn’t prohibited was just wrapped (very well) in black shrink wrap. Have sent loads of parcels in the past like this through various couriers with no issues. Tried to claim refund on parcel force website but wouldn’t accept claim due it being booked through parcel monkey. Looks for contact number to speak to someone as per all companies now don’t want have phone number to speak to a human being. Pointless waste of time - recommendation only book direct through the courier don’t use a third party.

The app was easy to use and found me a good price for sending a package from the UK to the US.
Labels printed easily so all I had to do was pack it up and drop it off at the post office.
Package was delivered in a week. Not bad at all.
Would recommend.

First and last time using this service! I recently used this service to send a parcel, carefully entering the correct weight and measurements before paying the quoted price. However, I was shocked to be charged an additional £52 afterward the item was delivered ! I double-checked my details, and everything was accurate on my end. Despite this, I still got hit with an unexpected extra charge. Customer service has yet to provide a clear answer, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. This was my first time using this service, and based on this experience, it will certainly be my last. I cant recommend them due to these hidden charges and lack of transparency.

The website is easy to navigate and the forms are easy to complete. My parcel was picked up on a Monday and delivered to the destination in Australia the following Monday. Good value too.

Really good. Wasnt sure quite how I got here, but everything went like clockwork from ordering collection to delivery to end user. Pretty impressed considering this county is pretty hopeless at everything else...

If you dont mind endless frustration trying to complete the booking forms, then not receiving the paperwork & having to contact customer services each time. Then finally your parcel not arriving within the promised time frame then go ahead & use them. Do not use for anything urgent. Lots of patience needed.

Parcels were due to be collected on Thu 7th Nov but were not lifted until mid-morning on the 8th. There was virtually no tracking info online, certainly not naming/timing any of the intermediate depots. Yesterday, 12th they showed as being in the delivery office and today they are shown as delivered. (But I do not yet have confirmation from the recipient.) So from placing the order on the 6th, they have taken five working days, not the 48 hours I paid for.

Just be very careful. I knew the dimensions of the box as it was printed on the box! I also knew the weight. But have just been charged an extra £3 including 50p for admin. Up until now I would have recommended them but totally annoyed now that they wait nearly 2 weeks for adding this cost with a feeble excuse which I could prove was a load of rubbish.

Its still not arrived and they now say that a delivery was attempted at 10 pm at night on the 9/11/24. Since then no update. Its now 7:30 pm on 12/11/2024 with no update. Not really helpful and the company are now hassling me for its whereabouts. I filled in the email address and contact number of where it is destined. So why is the courier not sorting this?

My experience with Parcel Monkey was deeply disappointing. I paid for a 2-3 day shipment from the UK to Spain, completing all the required paperwork as instructed. However, I was later inundated with additional documentation requests from Spanish Customs, none of which had been communicated by Parcel Monkey beforehand. Over the next four weeks, I made numerous attempts to contact the company, but no one got in touch. Eventually, they reached out to inform me that the parcel had been rejected and that I would now need to pay for its return. To my surprise, the very next day, the parcel was delivered to the recipient. The entire process was frustrating and unnecessarily complicated, marked by a total lack of transparency and communication. Once they had my payment, it seemed as though they were uninterested in resolving any issues. Overall, it was an incredibly poor experience, and I cannot recommend their service.
