Avoid this company at all costs, they will scam you out of money and refuse to take responsibility or contact you once they’ve scammed you. I paid for £122 for a “global priority drop off” which guaranteed my parcel would be shipped from UK to Lanzarote in 5 days. I had it delivered to a hotel I was staying in for a week. I made sure to send the parcel 5 days before I arrived which would allow for a few days delay. Unfortunately, the delay was 3 weeks. Customs had an issue with the address label provided by Parcel Monkey that I had filled out correctly. After sending them a screenshot of the hotel address that was completely identical to the address I’d written on the form, suddenly the parcel was released from customs. When the pared reached the hotel it was returned to my address because the recipient was not there. Parcel Monkey has now wormed their way out of a refund with the following: “ Unfortunately, since your parcel was returned due to the recipient is not listed at the address you provided. We will issue 25% refund for the shipping cost as a goodwill gesture.“ Would you like to know why the recipient wasn’t there? It’s because PARCEL MONKEY took 3 weeks to deliver a parcel that was supposed to be delivered in 5 days, and because I was on holiday for one week I was obviously no longer at the hotel. So the recipient was not there due to YOUR errors. I can’t fathom why you think you’ll be getting away with using your own terrible service as a reason not to refund me. The parcel was a small pink car for my little niece who only has a few months to live and would be the last birthday present I would be able to give her. The distress and upset you’ve caused me is unmeasurable. I will not stop contacting you until I’ve received the money I need to get the gift to her with another company. I hope you look forward to hearing from me every single day.

I’m still waiting to get some sort of realistic reply from Royal Mail, regarding not collecting the parcel and then to deliver to me, they do recognise the tracking number either.

A week later on a guaranteed next day service and the parcel is still sitting here. 6 emails confirming a collection time and day, never been collected. ParcelMonkey just use the sloping shoulders approach and blame the courier. Will NEVER use them again. Absolutely shocking customer service.

Lack of responsibility for the parcel after it leaves UK soil. 50 minutes on the call waiting, no help on getting package updates. After the package left the UK it was given to another absolutely cheapest shipment company with waiting times ~5 days. If they decided to pay 50p more, my package wouldve gotten to me way earlier. Im very dissapointed and wil never use parcel monkey again.

Parcel delivered to Republic of Ireland, very efficiently.
Only negative was the first Evri drop off, the machine didn’t work, so had to try another place and this was perfect.

I heard back from parcel monkey last night they offered me my postage back rightly so, they then offered me £50 as a gesture of good will for smashing up my £275 microwave and want the ins &out of a ducks backside before i get it. I find the fact that the customer has to jump through hoops in order to get refunded for the damage that has been done by the so called courier ridiculous the so called courier should be made to do it. after all it was him who done the damage, anyway citizens advice have been a great help so i will be going back to them for more advice.

Terrible Service. Was charged over £100 extra when the package arrived at the destination as they claimed it was overweight, when it wasnt. Dianne was useless on customer service and will never be using the company again. I overdeclared my package just to ensure it was fine and still they tried to charge my card. The worst service, I would stay away from using them

Chose because it looked cheaper than going to the courier direct, but a charge was then added as I had ‘not entered correct measurement’. I know I had - actually put bigger than it was to avoid this. If had gone direct it could have been checked before sending. Also, at one point tracking was telling me my parcel was in Nigeria…. Very random.

i paid parcel monkey £48.52 to get a parcel collected which was a £400 microwave from an address in cambridge to be delivered to me on the wirral this was on 3rd sep 23 they picked the parcel up on fri 8th i got a txt on tue 12th to say it would be delivered between 9-1 that day waited in all day and wed and thursday friday they messaged me to say they are sorry but my parcel had been damaged in transit by ups couriers and they were sending back the parcel to where they had collected it from,i had paid for the microwave and parcel monkey so didnt understand why they were taking it back to where they got it from you cannot speak to anyone as they do not use phones so all these days i was messaging non stop all i got was sorry courier hasnt been in touch i asked parcel monkey about getting my money back for the service i paid for as i never seen the parcel and who was going to compensate me for damaged microwave ive just been told because i didnt take out insurance there is nothing they can do i i do not no if this is right but surely someone has got to be accountable they even had the cheek to say we do apologise we hope you use our service again WHAT SERVICE DID I GET APART FROM A ____.Talk about adding insult to injury i would sooner use carrier pigeon than that ----show of a company worst company i have ever had the misfortune to use.

They just dont listen or do whats promised. I made a booking for 2 parcels to be sent via DX, 1 was a standard size, the other was oversized. All correctly declared. Problem is when DX collected, they labelled the wrong items, so the oversized got sent on a standadrd service, and was therefore returned to me. I am now trying to get a refund via a manager but "Nicholas" does not seem to understand why Im not accepting a refund of £10.79 against the delivery of the standard parcel, when its the item I paid £84.79 for that was not delivered. If I had labelled them incorrectly, I could see the point but I havnt as the DX driver labels them for you when they collect/. I have even provided photographic proof that the package returned was the oversized. They will not give you a complaints process. What they will say is that they are a "agent" so do not have an influence over DX actions - that may be the case but the contract is with them, they have my money and they are responsiboe. Sadly like many carriers, great when it goes well but awful when it goes wrong.

Using parcel monkey was easy and efficient. I was given plenty of options to choose from, each with costings and service, drop off was local and easy to do. The goods arrived in time and with no damage.

Be careful.... I sent 3 from UK to Australia while I was there. All three have tiny extra amounts put through later that are WAY above the kilo rate... because they have your credit card number, and because you allowed the first debit, you cant stop them puuting through outrageous later debits. They debited me three times for a few grams at a third of the cost of the parcel. eg 13kg parcel supposedly is "over weight" by a few grams, so extra fee is about what 5 kg would cost. All three were scammed the same way. The amount was simply debited... well after it arrived, as they know there is no way to confirm it. Dont use them, go to the PO direct, and buy the Parcel Force direct... that way, you may pay a few bob more to start with, but theres no scam-debit later. My sister says these are VERY common with this company in UK and a way to get money. In fact she was overcharged 200 quid!!! on another 3kg one she did for me, and it took ages to get the obvious error back. So... buy direct, not thru these "add-on" scammers. No honesty.
