AVOID AVOID AVOID I sent 2 parcels to the same address. the first arrived two days late (suppose to be 48hrs but took 4 days) the second arrived 3 days after that. Both boxes contents were smashed and damaged. I had taken the extra insurance for these items, but parcel monkey are now refusing to pay it and have only offered me £19.18 on a £200 item. They are now ignoring any contact I try to have with them. BAD COMPANY AVOID

I sent an international parcel 2 months ago and it still has not left the UK, i have sent around 20 messages but parcelmoneky are not interested ! They have lost it and now refuse to compensate me despite me paying extra to cover £150 insurance. I have requested the compensation form/procedure 3 times but they just copy and paste a message which they have been doing from last month requesting me to wait, so parcel is lost and they want me to just back off..well....i will be submitting a complaint through MCOL small claims court to recovery my loss. also will be reporting to trading standards for mis-selling, on postal insurance

Extremely quick delivery and a good price, but my parcel was squashed and some of the things inside were broken (and glass so not insured). I would use again but not for anything that can be damaged.

Where else in the world would you even consider entrusting someone whos only contact you have is a mobile phone number, with your most valued possessions? I paid a deposit £50 for someone to deliver some £4k speakers. No end of excuses later (breakdowns, had to do another job) I looked into the Parcel Monkey system. There is nobody to contact and no proof if somebody decides to deny they ever took delivery of your item. The system is utterly flawed, open to scammers and is unaccountable. In hindsight Im lucky I only ever got scammed of £50 not the full £4,000. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CONSIDER THIS HIGHLY RISKY "SERVICE"

Well.. Im not really sure where the blame lies at the moment but on 22 Dec I sent a parcel to India which was received on 6 Jan. Problem is, when the receiver opened the parcel every single one of the 8 items was gone. And replaced with a holdall bag. There were 8/9 gifts in this parcel and my friend received none. Just the greetings card and a bag. Obviously it is very upsetting as these were personal items. None of what I sent was on the prohibited list. I have contacted the Indian parcel courier ( DTDC) and awaiting a reply. So so wrong for people to just take other peoples gifts. Would anyone happen to know how I contact Indian customs. Incase it was taken from there. Ive tried to find on Google but cant find what Im looking for. Thanks in advance

The web site was a little complicated by the requirement for a telephone number and name for the recipient of the parcel and this is not always easy to provide when dealing with a return to a large on line retailer.
Everything else was 5 star service and the parcel was collected on the correct day and delivered in the time frame paid for.

Do not use them, i used Trakpak express delivery service with a 3kg item, cost £41, and i sent it on the 11dec, they didnt even come to pick it up until 14th dec. and now its 7th Jan they still not got it delivered. Parcel monkey kept saying they could not contact Trakpak and refuse to compensate for lost parcel. Its almost been one month. How an earth do you run a business when you cant get in touch with your couriers. I told them ring them up and they said they dont have a phone system. Rubbish excuses they make up, if i could screenshot the 60 messages email i would of done here. I been chasing them every single day and they dont do nothing. I was advised they are a fraudlent company, stay away guys!

Recently sent a parcel to California,found the whole process really good, Parcel arrived on time in good condition,staff really helpful, and brilliant price will be using this service again.

Wouldnt hesitate to use again. Simple online procedure with easy to print label. Collection was early and Saturday delivery the same time. Excellent up to date status of parcel.

Service was easy to use - I was returning a high value item which needed insurance and it was no problem to get it sorted out. Collection was efficient and tracking easy, Delivered next day as promised. Would use Parcel Monkey again.

Don’t use parcel monkey. They have no customer service, they take your money and more. I am disgusted with them and have lodged a dispute through my credit card provider. They don’t even have the decency to respond to your queries

I can safely say the service from parcel monkey is non excistant. I used the service a few months ago to send a parcel to America. I gave dimensions and weight and was quoted a price. A while letter I received an e mail to say they had to charge me a couple of pounds extra. I did not query this. However I posted a parcel to Australia beginning of December, was again quoted a price. Within a couple of weeks they said they had taken an extra £16.59. I have e mailed them on 2 separate occasions disputing this (waiting the required weeks response time). To date I have not heard anything except automated acknowledgements. You can’t phone them to discuss your concerns - I wonder why? I am appalled they can advertise they are such a good service. I have lodged a dispute through my credit card provider.

2 day service DPD, picked up ok and will eventually (still waiting day 5) by Chronoposte. If I had known Chronoposte was involved would not of used them as they are the worst. DPD deception, very slow and poor service, assuming it eventually arrives.

I guess at the end of the day the performance of the end couriers reflects on Parcel Monkey. Booked two heavy parcels for collection. Parcel Force collected at 09:30 the next morning - and delivered within 48 hours. So thats five stars. Second collection was with DX. They did not show. Complained to Parcel Monkey the following morning, they re-booked collection for the next working day. First issue is that Parcel Monkey had no idea that DX had failed to collect. DX still failed to show the second time. Again Parcel Money had no idea that DX had failed to show up twice. Ended up booking with DPD via Parcel Monkey myself but had to drive 12 miles round trip to drop the parcel off instead. Delivery was then within 48 hours. So Im not sure if Id book via Parcel Monkey again. In my opinion they need to be completely on top of no shows and take action / remove unreliable couriers from their portfolio. Personally I would never, ever, entertain using DX again.

Whilst Parcel Monkey is easy to use and offers a selection of delivery time frames and costs from various suppliers, on this occasion the items delivered by DPD did not arrive in the time frame expected. I chose their service as it clearly stated delivery would be made within 3 to 5 days. Delivery actually took 11 days which meant the parcel did not arrive in time for Christmas. I would expect the timeframes offered to reflect the busy holiday period.

MY EMAIL TO PARCEL MONKEY: Let me make it clear to you: Our Client posted back doors to on the 21 December, we are the sellers. Since then we have not received this parcel and you are saying that you cant refund money because the parcel was not delivered yet, but this is the point! # I am asking you to refund the below amount in the previous email becaUSE your courier simply lost this parcel. Over two weeks and no parcel, no track of where is it etc. I hope you understanding it better now and will forward refund form ASAP, If not as I said we will make sure trading standards is informed about this, as a company who runs the business in the UK we are protected by the law which you do not follow.
