Sadly a very bad experience. The courier from Parcel Monkey accidentally picked up 4 x boxes weighing 20 kilos each that were for another courier destined to go overseas, instead of picking up the single box weighing 7 kilos. I am not entirely sure how this was not spotted especially as the 4 heavy boxes did not even have any labels attached. I then had to pay Parcel Monkey to have returned and the state they were in when they came back to me meant we had to entirely re pack them. To add further insult to injury Parcel Monkey then charged me extra as they said I had not paid the correct amount of money for an 80 kilo consignment. So, a mistake of their making, which I have paid three times for and no reply from them when I emailed to complain. I will never use them again.

After having problems with a rival parcel company (parcels2go !) I decided to give Parcel Monkey a "go" and I was very impressed with the speed of service ,the tracking facility and the "rate" all first class and the parcel arrived in the Czech Republic bang on Schedule . Quite easy to set up a delivery online via website - choice of carriers presented with prices. Hidden costs are a drawback IMHO. Added VAT not presented clearly so true total cost not always clear.

Both parcels were completely smashed even protecting everything with bubble wrap and some of the contents were completely destroyed.

Very bad customer service when it goes wrong. They’ve even taken away the chat function so when something goes wrong with your order (I didn’t receive my labels/the order didn’t go through their end) you send them a message and hope they’ll get back to you within 3 hours (if you’re lucky and they’re quiet). Well they didn’t. I purchased a priority service within the timeframe for a pickup the next day. That’s hasn’t been purchased by PM with the courier and I now need to wait an additional day - my parcel will now be late and I’m the one that looks bad. Parcel Monkey - you need to address your customer service function and the ability to respond to customers quickly in the event things don’t go as planned. I won’t be using you again until you address the speed at which you address customer needs and technical problems.

Firstly the PDF would not print the correct size so its barcode couldnt be read by the scanner (far too big). Due to the size, some information was cut off the lable so I had to make a screen-grab print while the courier waited (He was very accommodating). Secondly the shiping company in the UK contacted the recipient in India by phone to ask for a copy of his email addess, but they emailed ME for a picture of the recipient and a copy of his ID. I might use this service again, although in fairness ParcelMonkey are simple a portal and I chose the shipper based on price. At least I am forearmed to spend more time up front!

Paid for next day delivery before the bank holiday weekend and item wasn’t collected. This was for business use and I feel extremely disappointed due to the extended time scale and the knock on effects this will cause. Let’s see if the parcel is collected in the morning.
