If Parcel Monkey had a number to contact (which they dont) it would probably ring through to one man is his bedroom who can build good sites but doesnt like people and cant run a business. Go direct to the courier. This is the third day ive taken off work for collection. The item arrived 3. Days late and broken and then I tried to claim on insurance but was refused as they said a wooden coffee table is in the prohibited list but yet I paid the insurance! Had to refund the customer and I was at a loss of £149. Which is unacceptable .

Didnt another courier on the booked day. Confirmation email received but apparently driver wasnt told. Waited in all day.

It is realy cheap comparing to DHL and other companies and they delivered the parcel to my door in Saudi Arabia. I am very happy to use them again and again.

Having had a friend accidentally take my wallet several hours away I found Parcel Monkey online and booked a same day pick up and collection (on a Sunday). I received notification that the order had been received. When there was no collection several hours later I went back into the site and my account to find that there was a note on the order saying there was an issue and to contact them. There is no phone number and their email contact centre is only manned Monday to Friday. Not much use on a Sunday. I sent several emails and received a response on the Monday morning saying there was a technical problem and that with a newly confirmed collection time they would organise the delivery. I asked for it to be as soon as possible but several hours later I am still waiting for a response. I have now asked them to cancel the collection and have used Royal Main Sameday instead. I just hope I dont get charged. Do not use them - how can any organisation function without a reliable way of customers getting in contact with them?

I dont send many parcels and was nervous about using a cheap courier, but Royal Mail were so expensive. Parcel Monkey allowed me to send using Royal Mail much cheaper than direct booking, but with what appears to be the same service. Pick up and tracking went according to the booking.

Booked a 24 hour delivery service with Parcelforce through Parcelmonkey. Parcel was collected very promptly. Having tracked its progress, I found that it arrived at the Delivery depot in the very early hours of the next morning, ready for delivery to my young relative that same day. However it actually never left the delivery depot and subsequently arrived 3 days later than I had requested. At no stage when booking the parcel did it state anything other than the 24 hour delivery, this is why I chose this service at greater expense. Whilst booking the service a message was attached saying that if I wanted to book the 24 hour service it had to be done by a deadline, which I fulfilled with time to spare. I contacted Parcelforce immediately and was very disappointed with their dismissive response. They stated that I should direct my complaint to Parcelmonkey as it was their mistake and not Parcelforce.

Thought it would be a simple task, to send a parcel from the UK to Spain. It wasnt, it took 5 phone calls to the UK from Spain, 15-20 emails, four days waiting in for delivery. The on line chat for parcel monkey was hopeless, had a message, " if theres a problem, get back in touch" got back in touch and got ignored. Got sent from Parcel monkey to Courier and from Courier back to Parcelmonkey. Absolutely disgusted at my treatment and had to really really fight to get my package. Never, ever again.

Parcels collected a day late, dont know if its parcelmonkey or parcelforces fault, but was kept up to date with the situation (website stated that if collection date/time was missed it would definitely be the next day) still not good enough in my view though. Other than that i had no complaints from the recipient as to tje the condition of the arrived parcels.

Good prices especially if you need peace of mind with extra insurance..pity they dont allow you to enter the amount you wish to insure the parcel for and rank the options by price..would have sped up the search vastly. Apart from that all good..easy to book and services available are clear, and executed as promised.

I booked the parcel in online, very straightforward too. it was picked up when they said it would be and arrived safely when they said it would arrive.
The recipient got it in the same condition I shipped it.
You cannot say fairer than that!

Real mess up, delivered it back to me, the sender instead of addressee (in Italy)...no explanation and when I called parcel force for explanation they couldnt give me one! waste of time and money!

I have used Parcel Monkey to find quotes to send a parcel abroad. Found the cheapest quote was with UPS. booked everything online, the courier turned up as agreed and the parcel was delivered within a week!
overall i had a pleasant experience. Couldnt find any faults whatsoever. Will definitely use them again. Thanks!

Twice now paid for a 24 delivery and its taken 48! emailed parcelmonkey basically they said i was unlucky (twice in a row) now i know problems arise but its how you deal with them that counts, they offered me nothing!!

only criticism was that there was no indication of what time collection was due.other than that no problem.

a well packed parcel arrived with contents smashed - a cast iron stand PM did not go do any more than look at some photos and then refused claim even though I paid for the extra insurance. The goods and packing never inspected - box had a big gash in it - maybe a forklift? disgraceful attitude - hide behind emails - cannot speak to anyone - considering making a county court claim

My 48 hour parcel force delivery is currently 4 days late and counting. Parcel force are no help whatsoever. Not happy as it was a gift for my sons birthday which was yesterday.

I have sent a parcel but not deliverd no card to tell my customer were it is I have just used a courier and found these OK but this is the same as another courier who were rubbish
