I have used Parcelmonkey regularly, usually to sent items overseas and generally if I use the more expensive Parcelforce service I usually have no problem. However every time I try to send a parcel to Asia with DPD there is a problem and the parcel usually ends up coming back to me 2 weeks later after it has travelled all over the country because DPD have decided that it contains a restricted item. However this does not happen if I send with DPD to USA or Canada. In the past these restricted items have included books, shopping bags and most recently because they have decided they cannot transport a parcel which contains two bags of sweets. The sweets were declared in the contents on the order and customs documents and Parcel Monkey were more than happy to take my payment and book the order. I sent two parcels to friends in Taiwan last week which contained sweets amongst other things, I have sent similar items numerous times before with Parcelforce with no issue. Initially the tracking said the parcels had left Heathrow and were on the way to Taiwan but on checking again today it looks like that is not the case and the parcels seem to have been transported around various DPD hubs in England but I have not received any communication to say there is an issue. I have contacted Parcel Monkey Customer Service today to find out what is going on and at first they said the parcels were on the way to Taiwan and then changed there mind and said that they were on their way back to me because they contain restricted items - sweets! Now I have no idea when I will get the parcels back and will face a battle to get a refund just so I can send the same parcels with the same content using their more expensive Parcelforce service but by then my parcels will be two weeks late and I will not be entitled to any compensation for this delay. To their credit when this has happened before Parcel Monkey have always given me a full refund but this does not fully resolve the problem, if anything it is the lack of interest in sorting the issue out, ie helping me get my parcels to where they need to be, that is more frustrating. It seems to me from the issues I am having now and have had previously that DPD are reluctant to transport anything to Asia but if that is the case why do Parcelmonkey still keep offering this company as an option for overseas shipping? I note that when negative feedback is left on this website the standard response is that they are just a price comparison site; there certainly seems to be no interest in resolving issues that occur that’s for sure!

Booked UKPOST via Parcel Monkey, they failed to pick up on the assigned day then turned up every day after for 3 days.... Prob not Parcel Monkeys fault but still a poor experience.

Generally reliable - with 1 problem a few months ago. Website is good and easy to use. Main downside is that if there is a problem you cant speak to anyone.

this is my PM number - PM6138451 I did everything mediation, FAO manager,formal complain, nothing worked- you want to give me 20 pounds for a full luggage which only its price is 100 pounds. PLease people DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY i really want to help innocent people to not have their thing stolen!!! and no compensation given. PArcel MOnkey should be closed by lack of care

Put request in for parcels to be delivered; the tracker site advises that the parcels were not ready for collection but at no point did the courier make contact or try to pick up the parcels. Nonetheless, the full balance has been taken from my account. I have had no contact from ParcelMonkey since and am very suspicious that fraud has occurred. ParcelMonkey are proving extremely difficult to contact via phone or email.

DO NOT USE. Parcel was dispatched on the 1st of Feb to Italy, was contacted by customer to ask where the product was after about 15 days, Contacted parcel monkey 6 times to be told they would contact the courier, heard nothing for months and on the 9th April told me I would not be entitled to claim as it need to be reported in 10 days of due date. Still dont know where my product is and over £100 out of pocket, with a negative feedback from customer. Moved to another courier service.

Mostly fine - used many times and generally good service. On this occasion, parcel was actually quite badly damaged in several places, so not sure what happened to it on the way, Luckily contents were fine.

Who the feck wants to open an account to simply track your delivery. Bollox of a site, no phone number. Everything points you back to "open an account or log in " page. Get with the plan you antiquity named monkeys! Parclefore, royal mail, Courier, UPS, all lets you track your incoming parcel without opening an account...

WORST COMPANY EVER! They did not send my parcels they lost it. They want to give the minunim of insurance that does not cover even the price of my bag. Most of my belongs are there . I tried mediation i did not an answer , i tried FAO manager not an answer. WORST customer service ever!!!!! no direct email or phone. DO NOT use this company!!!!! i want a compesation for the stress and the time lost because their small letter block all type of material lost. AGAIN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY they are robbers and disonest.
