The service was actually excellent initially and provided a very easy way to post my parcel. What I didn’t love is the extra charges on top of the original quote and they were automatically taken from my credit card without authorisation. Also the reason for the extra charge seems incorrect as I personally weighed the boxed item at 1.6kg and paid for a parcel under 2kg and they told me it weighed 2.5kg which I know for a fact is incorrect. It seems a minimal charge but a dishonest one nonetheless.

Day 53 of claim and same nonsence from Parcel Monkey. They claim to have no telephones. A simple phone call could have sorted this weeks ago. Treat customers with utter contempt. I note others via social media have had exactly the same awful experience. I was told you raised a claim with Parcel Force but never told outcome. We even paid for extra insurance. Pay up now. Never again!

Parcel Monkey themselves were fine, however the two collections Ive ordered through them for DHL have been terrible.
The first took 3 attempts for collection - they couldnt find the house on the first attempt (its not difficult to fine but I received no phone call for directions despite them having my telephone number), the second attempt the next day similarly failed in that apparently there was nobody at home (despite me waiting in all day). Collection was finally made on the third attempt on day 3.
I put this down to bad luck and tried another collection with DHL, also dreadful but an improvement in that it only took two attempts over 2 days for collection!

If i had to rate zero star i would, very bad service especially communication. They have no contact details except live chat and its very annoying when you are stressed about a parcel missing or lost. Very very bad

completed all info before it had a wobble about my postcode and could find no reason as it said the area was not covered but the poscode for the neighbouring street worked. selected DPD but when arrived at the drop off destination they didnt have the necessary paperwork to complete my order. I had to travel to a different location. Not the fault of Parcel Monkey but to pay parcel monkey then be unable to complete the process was frustrating. Luckily the nearest drop off point aside from this was not too far but i nearly missed collection.

Only problem was that they are unable to give you an hour or two window for pick up, so I had to spend all day waiting for courier to turn up, and when you call customer service they advise you “any time between 8am and 6pm” and ask you to remain on the premises at all times during that time because once the driver left the depot they don’t have contact with him.

Always happy with this service. The tracking system appears to have a gap between leaving UK and going out for loacal delivery. The first part is fine, the final delivery unbelievable, as you can watch the van trundling down your country lanes with your parcels! It’s jst the bit in between where there is a need for improvement. Still happy though!

Terrible customer care, I run a business these guys would ruin you given half the chance, There enhanced compensation is a total joke they wont pay out trust me , My advice go elsewhere there not called Monkeys for nothing! I have sent 100 of parcels with them them , They do not value their customers!

SO FAR SO GOOD - DONT FORGET THEY ARE SUPPLYING OTHER PEOPLES SERVICES SO CAN BE LET DOWN BY OTHER PEOPLE SUCH AS GLS THOSE SHYSTERS THAT ARE OWNED BY ROYAL MAIL (THE EUROPEAN DIVISION OF PARCELFORCE) THAT DONT CARE IF THEY DELIVER YOUR PARCEL OR NOT OR IF THEY LIE ABOUT THE ADDRESS OR DONT BOTHER TO EVEN TICKET THE BUYER TO SAY ATTEMPTED DELIVERY AND RETURN IT TO THE UK WHERE SOMEONE OTHER THAN THEM HAVE TO PAY AGAIN FOR THEIR SHEER LACK OF HUMAN RESPECT ! I have used this service to post parcels overseas twice this week and have been so impressed with it that I have no reservations in using it again or recommending it to friends. Parcel Monkey is simple to engage, has clear and unambiguous forms to complete (for customs) and the DPD service is extremely efficient. I am also impressed with the charges when compared to similar services.

This company is a scam. If your parcel is lost then itll be a mission impossible to resolve the issue. Theyve lost my parcel and Ive been chasing the monkey business since February, but no one is bothered to reply to me.

Scam of a company. Beware extra charges after parcel delivered, stating your parcel weighed double the weight and they need photographic evidence to prove you are correct. Stay away! I’m contacting trading standards. Also they store your card details and make fraudelent transactions without your permission

Collection & Delivery , were seamless in their execution & considering my order was for a " next day " delivery , which was placed with " 81 mins left to order " ...remarkable , springs to mind. All in all , an outstanding service , worth every penny.

My parcel was picked up by parcelforce at the end of january. Never received any update or tracking, so I contacted the customer service, here the nightmare begins. It is two months now that parcelmonkey is “chasing up” with the courier (parcelforce) trying to find my parcel. They also asked me pictures of it, clear sign of what was going on, lost. The customer service is not rude they never give a satisfactory answer. My parcel was insured for 200£ and the shipping cost was 90£, money that I want back! But through the chat it’s very difficult to claim anything. Will NEVER use parcelmonkey again.
