Nightmare getting compensated for lost items. They also charge extra for items even when the items have been correctly weighed. They then blame it on the carrier & so you have no.leg to stand on because they want evidence that the item was the weight as you said. I use parcel monkey out of neccessity. There prices are generally lower & there really is not much alternative for international orders..

I sent a parcel to China in November 2018. It was never delivered. Practically every week since December 2018 I requested updates - all I got was robotic replies. Eventually they admit that it has been lost and email a claim form. However, I couldnt fill it in within their 7 day time scale because it took me a while to find the receipt. So now they are saying that the time for compensation has expired! I find this as totally dishonest because they took took my money but never delivered. Really this is criminal activity.

Rub...bish Booked 24 hour delivery. Got call on day of pick up to check if package ready?? of course its ready how do you think we had weight and measurements !! Then told good we can collect tomorrow. So 24 hours gone to 48 hours and people both ends have been GREATLY inconvienienced. Messaged via twitter and ZERO response.

Their level of incompetence is astounding. I sent a present to Tenerife, Spain on 16th March. Despite DPD courier (tracking) stating it was in Tenerife, Parcel Monkey were adamant it was still in their warehouse in the UK. I redirected it with another paid for order to the new address in Malaga, Spain. Again it didnt leave the UK. I was refunded and promised it would be returned to the collection address in London. In the meantime, the address in Spain received a parcel for another customer in France and I received a parcel in London for another customer in Manchester! Its now over a week and neither of these parcels have been picked up nor my original parcel returned. Their customer service hardly ever respond within the 3 hour period promised and dont seem to have a system for prioritising a particularly bad case such as this with one member of staff, point of contact, dedicated to finding a solution. The sign of good customer service is when something goes wrong. Parcel Monkey are just a catalogue of disasters. Avoid!!

Slow to respond to customer service issues and if your parcel is damaged or lost good luck getting compensation at all! Useless, just avoid them and save yourself the pain.

Read the fine print before you pay. I paid for a service thinking that I’d be able to set the pick-up time, but afterwards realized that the service I selected only provided a very wide window (8 am to 6 pm). My fault for not looking into this sooner, but ParcelMonkey could do more to improve transparency.

Delivery notes and receiver’s phone number were not passed through the system to Parcel Force resulting in two aborted deliveries, several emails and a long a phone call.
