Had no receipt or notification to confirm my parcel had been collected

okay so not really sure why parcel monkey want a review as they didnt really do a lot, okay they gave me an option to pick which carrier I wanted to used based mainly on cost, but at the end of the day nothing else, DHL text the pick time the next and they picked up with in the stated time range, I had to call myself to find out if the item had been delivered, so yes great work Parcel Monkey, hope my review reflects your expectations on all your hard work.

I booked my parcel and the reason I have give 2 stars are because I paid for my parcel to be picked up from house. I had a web chat with an advisor and Iw as assured that my parcel will be picked up from my house. Eventually no one picked up to another courier and I was told that Parcel Monkey advisor had make a mistake and the parcel needs to be dropped to a local collection centre.

Overall once again all good.
The tracking seemed to go a little odd this time where it seemed to be in no mans land, but not sure if that was Parcel Monkey or DHL.
But it is an easy platform to use and the package arrived when expected.

Parcel monkey great easy way to book parcel pick up & delivery used several times, yet some of the couriers do not work in Ireland at weekends so took longer for delivery than anticipated, even though kept updated, the delays not made clear when initially booking by relevant companies.

Appalling. Rubbish. Got emails confirming parcel collection. Waited all day. No collection. DX said that Parcel Monkey have never sent them the job. Appalling service.

I hate being negative but this company is a joke. I had a problem with an item with £90 which was broke while being delivered. I put in for a claim which took a while due to the customer service being very poor and also having to communicate with the customer. This took a while as expected but now the claim is closed so I’m down nearly £100 and they won’t refund it as it apparently had not enough backing when there clearly is. Really poor service and with me only being 19 and studying £100 is quite a lot of money.

The only thing I can fault it on was the fact is I work for my self and had to wait at work all day could have done with a time slot of a few hrs or less that would have made the service 100%

Parcelmonkey lost my parcel, although the tracking system still says that it is in their national hub waiting to be delivered. When I complaint, they refuse to reimburse me the value of the parcel, and the full value of the service cost, because I allegedly I did not notify them of the lost parcel within the time limit (10 working days). However, how would I have inferred that they lost it if the system still says that it is in their possession?
