I used Parcel Monkey for the first time. It was simplicity from arranging the pick up to the delivery of the items. The delivery guys were pleasant and very professional. The two items were fairly heavy yet they carried them both up several flights of stairs. Great job!

Very dodgy company BECAREFUL OF A SCAM. Failed to deliver my parcel, charged me twice, they charged me again to return my undelivered parcel and now they refusing to refund me all together !!!! They may be going out of business and they scamming everyone on their way. Avoid at all costs. Will be reported to trading standards.

Warning, Additional charges are fradulent and can be applied with no evidence to you after the items have been delivered. Now looking through the reviews it seems this is a common practice of parcelmonkey. In my case, I took the items to the post office where they were weighed, and sent on. After being delivered I was sent an email that my costs were being doubled and that my package was 400% heavier than I had indicated despite them being correct when I handed them into the post office. As per usual with this sort of company, no adequate response just the usual ‘Sorry - your wrong’ without any evidence or proof. This means parcel monkey can apply these charges whenever they like and without reprimand:

Lost Parcel Lost Money ( 7000 ) They scam dragging case for a year with no resolution claiming I never filled in form in 7 day. Never been provided any form. Really Bad Company. SCAMMERS

Additional unauthorised charges were levied while the package remains "lost" with no genuine relation whatsoever to the weight or dimensions of the package sent. It is not possible to dispute the charges. No evidence is presented beyond a series of random numbers which fluctuate depending on who you speak to in "customer service". It goes a little something like this: 1) Purchase service with package weight and dimensions x. 2) Service tendered from courier with weight and dimensions y < x. 3) "Oversized package!" Charge original payment method stored without consent. Now, you might overestimate so your package has a bit of wiggle room. Well, this is covered! In this case the package is claimed to be between 200 and 500 percent oversize, rendering it larger than the average adult male yet sliding by undetected when accepted at the Post Office and Customs as a small package weighing under 3 kg. On raising these concerns, it is noted that "lasers" are used to measure the weight and dimensions of the package. It was at this point I checked in the bushes for alien lifeforms and cast my wandering eye to a barn creature fluttering between the clouds. ("Lasers" certainly are used for the calculation of volumetric weight, which they do by measuring exterior dimensions and making a calculation that was in this case covered, but nowhere services a package 500 percent larger than declared.) Customer service have gone around in circles for a week now and the package remains "lost". In that respect it is not necessarily the additional charges that are more concerning but perhaps the basic service of "deliver a package" which was also paid for but is yet to be fulfilled 3 weeks onwards and with a stone wall from the actual courier involved. And frankly, if the package had been delivered then the charge could perhaps have been overlooked. If it is a scam then it truly is one of the worst scams ever devised. I absolutely do not expect a competent response after reading the canned replies to other reviews posted here but I welcome any possible explanation towards this unfortunate series of unusual events which goes toward ruling out fraud so the payment processor can be updated.

This truly is the worst company ever! Customer service is appalling, you get no support at all. I would say avoid at all costs. I think the customer chat box is a robot as nothing it says makes sense, do not take any responsibility for missing parcels and they do not have a contact number for you to speak to a real person. AVOID!!!!

Good price and excellent customer service. I accidentally created a new order for a 2nd parcel that was already on my first order. This was probably as a result of frustration due to issues with company I normally use. I was able to easily cancel this order and get a refund. Will use parcel monkey next time.

I wanted to send 10kg packet by ParcelMonkey....this time "paypal payment" was not visible (even I used paypal many times before), so I decided to pay by Debit Card. From Parcel Monkey, I bought Courier label. Courier came to collect, and then delivered it next day. Few weeks later I got email saying that they put 60£ EXTRA CHARGE, becasue my packet was 2 times bigger and weight 90kg !!!!! FAKE DIMENSIONS and WEIGHT without any proof from them, and THEY STEAL 60£ from my account. I provided them photo proofs of content, box with dimensions and proper 10kg weight. ParcelMonkey said they will send it to Courier to help. HOWEVER ONLY RESPONSE FROM PARCEL MONKEY IS "packet was delivered"...nothing about getting my money back. I believe ParcelMonkey wanted to cheat my from beginning, and to do that I didnt had an option to pay by PayPal, like I had before. If it would be PayPal I would get my money back easlie. *** AVOID THEM IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE CHEATED *** MANY PEOPLE HAD SAME PROBLEM *** PARCEL MONEKY IS NOT DOING ANYTHING TO HELP CUSTOMERS***** I CAN PROVIDE COPY OF OUR CHATS **********
