I sent an item to Germany and I also got extra rotection for damage or loss. The buyer contact my that the item has been damaged during transit I then contact parcel monkey after several weeks of investigations I was told there is nothing they can do as the buyer did not get back to them. You should not lie about your insurance because you don’t acknowledge it at all

Was surprised that Parcel Monkey was a clearing house for parcel delivery services. The first company I chose from their list, which they said was of firms in my area, said they were not available in my area! Thats a bit frustrating for starters! Eventually ended up with the Post Office parcel service, which did its job in picking up the parcel when it said it would, and - I hope - delivered it to Amazon. I cant really give Parcel Monkey unstinting praise as Ive only had the one experience, and am not sure why Parcel Monkey exists.

you are given a time for collection of parcel from 08:00 to 18:00 only. nothing more specific. does the company really expect people to stay in all day long. absolutely terrible service and will not use again.

Good service unfortunately the Spanish end let you down. Seur said they would deliver between 10.30-11.30. I sat by the door and they did not arrive. I then received and e mail saying they called at 11.20am and no one answered. They did not call to my home

Absolutely appalling service. Very little email correspondence in the way of confirmation. Paid for next day collection but the Courier missed my collection date twice. This becomes particularly problematic when their only form of customer service is through live chat. To attempt to reschedule for a third collection I waited on live chat for 50 minutes. I sent multiple messages in this time, which were all "read" by a Representative but not responded to. Finally had to email their customer complaints in an attempt to cancel the order, in which they ignored and rescheduled another delivery. After some conversation I finally managed to cancel. Reimbursement is not instantaneous however - passed to financing department with expected return of 3-5 days, which Im yet to receive. Not a single sincere apology. If you value your time and service I would suggest avoiding this Company like the plague.

I used parcel monkey as both parcel force and the post office have previously struggled with the address as its in southern Ireland and there are no post codes, which meant the parcel would be returned marked insufficient address . Last year i tried parcel monkey to see if that was more successful and my parcel arrived within 3 days. This year parcel momkey used parcel force and yet again there was problems with them stating it was insufficiently addressed. I only discovered this by tracking it - no one attempted to contact me to try and rectify the problem. in the end the recipient had to pick it up from the depot themselves Very poor

My parcel was supposed to leave France on Friday Dec 29. By Jan 2 it had not been picked up. I accept it is a busy time of year but do not think this is acceptable. There were people available at the collection point all day.

Love this service and use it regularly, looking at a few of the reviews I would say dont judge Parcel Monkey by the couriers themselves, if you choose the cheapest possible option then you cant moan too much when you dont get first class service.
Personally I always pay a few extra pennies for DPD, brilliant tracking service wherever in the world I send stuff.

This is the second time I have used Parcel Monkey, and the second time I have been delighted with the service given for the cost. Sending parcels to Japan is not easy at the best of time, thankfully Parcel Monkey have taken most of the stress away :)

Booking is very easy, and surprisingly cheaper. I chose to use the Parcelforce 48 service and it was around 20% cheaper through Parcel Monkey then through the Parcelforce website and it gave me a higher insurance cover too. Also they dont ask for endless personal details when completing the form. Only thing I found a pain was that the postage/despatch label was not immediately available after paying the booking fee and it said that it would be with me within an hour. I didnt have an hour to wait and see if it turned up so when onto their chat online service who got me the label immediately.

On 13th December my parcel for Australia was collected, due for delivery in Perth in 3-5 days time. I paid extra for insurance. Delivery should have been made well before Christmas. The parcel contained presents for my grandchildren. On 15th December I received an email saying my parcel was being returned to me. Unable to physically get hold of a person to speak to I had to resort to the poor email customer service. DPD said Parcel Monkey had recalled the parcel, Parcel Monkey say DPD returned it in error. On Monday afternoon, 18th December, I got the parcel back. Parcel Monkey said I must have had a battery in the contents. I opened the box to check, and found most of the presents had been opened - even ones that were obviously books! None of the presents contained a battery, and there was nothing on the contents that were prohibited. Despite many emails to Parcel Monkey I was getting nowhere until I posted on Twitter. Amazingly I then got a response. After many pointless emails (their responses are meaningless) I was finally told I would get a full refund. Five days after they told me the refund had been sent to my account I have finally received it. I would NOT recommend this company to anybody. On a positive note, I re-sent the parcel on Wednesday 20th December (gifts re-wrapped, nothing added, nothing taken out) with Courier. My daughter received the parcel on Christmas Eve. That was customer service at its best - Parcel Monkey could learn a lot from Courier.

Where do I start? Booked a delivery from London to Australia, guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. Its now the 3rd of January, and theres no sign of the parcel. This is a terrible finale to an altogether nightmare experience: - Parcel was collected two days late - Parcel tracking number doesnt work at all; states the parcel is still yet to be collected. - I have to get in contact with customer service to ask for tracking updates due to aforementioned issue - customer service team are rude, sarcastic, making the already upsetting experience even worse - I am now out of pocket for the gifts in the parcel, and the cost of sending it - about £300 - and once again, customer service team arent addressing the issue or helping resolve... PLEASE AVOID IF YOU CAN

I needed to send a large dehumidifier from Stowmarket to Newcastle so I booked through Parcel Monkey. Absolute painless transaction, everything went really well, Im very happy with the price I paid and the service I received. Got a text to inform me of my two hour pick up slot from my home, and it was picked up on time. Delivered safely next day in Newcastle, my sister got a text to give a two hour delivery slot, which was again on time. Very pleased with the whole experience, Id definitely use them again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY I recently posted an item through parcel monkey and also paid extra for insurance, once the item was received by the other person it arrived damaged and no longer working so I started a claim with parcel monkey and then got told because the damage was inside (item was a console) the item I cannot make a claim......please avoid sending Anything electrical or just avoid using them.
