I booked six packets from the UK to the Czech republic. The information I had from the website was that it would take 3-4 days. They were picked up on the Monday within the promised one-hour slot without any bother. They were delivered on the Thursday in good condition. Exactly what I wanted.

I put the wrong label on a boxed golf club for delivery to Spain. It couldnt be delivered (my fault) and I thought I could kiss goodbye to my driver. Not so - it was recovered and its being returned to me, Ill label it correctly next time.

This is the first time Ive used ParcelMonkey and I cannot fault the service or the price. Sent a parcel to my daughter in France and it arrived 3 days later and it cost half the price of using the Parcelforce online booking system.

Like other reviews Ive seen, my package got held in customs. I only found this out from using their tracking number on the web site. However, it then cleared that. But it was then held by the carrier (aramax). It was only when I contacted them that I got some of the story. It was held for customs payment. Apparently the courier left a poor voicemail. No way to contact them. A fortnight later they made another call. They wanted £24 to deliver it - customs/vat charges should have been less than £12. No explanation on the charges. Contact with parcel monkey via email was painful - all the replies came overnight US time. I tried to leave a one star review for Aramax, but parcel monkey removed the review, supposedly because it breaks their rules .... So, for all of these reasons, heres my one star for them now.

So you asked for an honest rating here goes. You said the delivery address in Europe was wrong. I checked this with the customer and on google maps and what I provided was correct. You didn’t try to attempt delivery after I told you the address was correct. The item was returned to the uk and either I had to pay 10gbp to get it back or you would keep it. So keep the item and shove it where the sun doesn’t shine too brightly. Let me know if you need any further reviews and I will be happy to provide them

I posted a large box to Italy from England using the Drop-off service at the local Post Office, which is convenient as I could do it over the weekend. The parcel was collected on a Monday and arrived by Friday, Id definitely recommend it.

Excellent service - easy drop off and the parcel arrived exactly when predicted.
Our only disappointment which I think is nothing to do with Parcel Monkey is that so many items are restricted between the UK and France. With the restriction of liquids on aircraft this could have been an ideal way of transporting goods

My parcel was supposed to be delivered in 5 days. It’s day six now and still no sign of it. Tracking shows it’s in Madrid, so I expect it will be another 4 days to sort and deliver to Majorca, then sort and go out for delivery on the island. At this rate my golf clubs will arrive just in time to ship them back home.

DPD came over to pick my stuff up, could not find me or locate the boxes (that were in clear sight) and did not call me despite having my number. Quite disappointed as I left the boxes outside for them to pick them up, anyone else could have picked them up instead during that time. anyhow, they came the day after and picked them up.
