The parcel to Romania took 9 days instead of the 4-5 days quoted. Even allowing for the Christmas post, it actually took 5 days just to leave the U.K. which is very disappointing. I will look at other couriers in the future.

Although the delivery time was longer than expected, we were ok with that - however, when our friends received their package, the box had been very badly damaged. It was crushed on most corners, and ripped along one side. We had expected the package would arrive in good condition - it was a Christmas present for friends who have recently emigrated, and it was unsatisfactory that their gift arrived in packaging in pretty tatty condition. We also had concerns, given the damage to the box, if the contents were intact. They seem to have been ok, but it takes the shine off.

Absolutely awful service say that courier is collecting so I wait in all day. No collection attempted yet parcel monkey tell me I missed it. I didn’t - no card left no notification at all. They then tell me it’s too late to rebook collection for the following day it will have to be in 2 days time. That day come around. Again I wait in ALL day 8am - 6pm. Surprise. NO COLLECTION. Scammers just want your money and never actually collect the item!!! Avoid at all costs. Go directly to the courier yourselves. Make you wonder if this is how they make their money...

Sent a parcel to Madeira on the 4th Dec using DPD Classic, should have taken less than a week - took 13 days. DPD tracker said parcel could not be delivered but there were people at home all the time. When I asked for details of the issue, just kept being told that they were contacting the courier. No update of what courier responded. I kept having to chase all the time. Appalling service from DPD as well as Parcel Monkey. Very stressful!

I am unable to give a full review at the moment as the item I posted has not yet been received. I was a bit concerned that the tracking details mentioned the recipient (in China) would receive this on 28th December, too late for Christmas. Although she has been informed it is in Hong Kong so at least it is nearer there than here! I chose the service I did as delivery stated it would arrive between 5-7 days, so always read the small print! Hoping it will arrive in time.

Really great service from provider.
Only problem was at delivery end in Italy - returned to depot as “incorrectly addressed” whereas it wasn’t.
But dispatch from Uk to Italy quick and straightforward.

This is an excellent service. The courier arrived when expected and the parcel arrived at its destination early! I was kept informed the entire time. Very cost effective too - much cheaper than going to the post office.

Useless. Always go direct to the courier rather than using these jokers. The delivery or pickup might fail but at least you can then complain to the organ grinder and not the Parcelmonkey. Customer service seem to assume customers know nothing about how couriers work and ask ridiculous questions like can you confirm your address.
