The parcel was collected on time at this end but the first attempt to deliver it in London failed, even though the recipients were there in the building and knew that the parcel was due to arrive. I also knew, because I received an email (which I passed on to London) but despite having a telephone number for the receiving address the delivery driver failed. The next attempt wasnt until the following afternoon (a little bit insulting after that failure) and it worked. I would expect a better performance than that. Previous parcels to that address by other companies have worked fine.

If I could give a zero rating I would. I dont think much of this site at all ! I need to send a long parcel 3.2 metres by 170cm x 160cm. Its not too heavy at 15kg The form asked if the parcel was longer than one metre so I clicked the box. So far so good. Then I filled in the dimensions as above and it promptly told me that the length had to be under 500 cm ! USELESS.

Collection was as arranged and delivery was within specified time. Parcel was undamaged.
I have used Parcel Monkey in the past with no problems but I have since discovered that this is a very expensive service (to New Zealand) and will look for alternatives quotes next time.

Parcel not getting delivered within the service time that i paid for. Paid for next day before 10, 12.26 same day, still sat in depot. This has now delayed my customer orders as the shipping schedule for this week has now been missed. This is the second time this has happened. Time to find a new supplier.

Absolute rubbish! sent out Thursday last week and my customer had to collect from Parcelforce depot Want a refund for this awful service! A carrier pigeon would have been faster. Will never use again.

Avoid these monkeys. If you pay peanuts you get monkeys. These guys have been saying to me for last 4 days that they will deliver my parcel , then it is not delivered.

While the service was prompt, and the parcel arrived within the timeframe expected, an additional cost was incurred upon arrival when, despite the forms all correctly stating that the parcel and its contents were personal/gifts, the recipient had to pay a substantial additional sum in order to claim it (which isnt ideal when theyre supposed to be their Christmas presents).

What a bunch of con artists I sent a parcel via parcelforce, a small jigsaw, couple of bars of 100g choc, a pair of earrings and birthday card. I weighed it, fully boxed up under 1.2kg, so I recorded 1.4kg on the paperwork to cover any changes. Then a few days later I am automatically charged for 4.3kg WT*!!!!!!!!! Seriously, there is no way in hell that parcel weighed 1.4kg let along 4.3kg - NEVER USE THEM UNLESS YOU WANT RIPPING OFF

9kg parcel sent from UK with Christmas gifts to son in Australia. Initially thought Royal Mail logical choice but their costs higher and delivery times longer.
Then started browsing and Parcel Monkey offered much better costs than direct booking with named couriers and often quicker. This made me a bit nervous but as package was relatively low value (£300 or so) I didnt want to double costs with postage.
So took what I thought was a bit of a chance.
Everything went great. Quote, booking, customs declaration, pick-up, communications, and delivery. All smooth and easy.
Represents excellent value for money. Especially when compared to sending even a card via Royal Mail. Will be making up a small packet of cards and sending shortly!
