If someone will be reading this I would advise not to use Parcel Monkey. Just check the price and go direct with the delivery company. You will pay pound or so more but if something will go wrong you can deal with delivery company direct, like in my case I was told to contact Parcel Monkey because I book through them. Parcel Monkey have no contact number so you end up chatting online trying to get to the bottom of your problem and I got just template answers like " sorry to hear that " "we will get in touch " and so on and automated general emails... my first and last time using Parcel Monkey but this is my personal experience.

My daughter sent me two pairs of pants as a birthday present two weeks ago. Ref.... PM11185113 Label / Customs Docs and Tracking. I can see them sitting in destination country, Australia for the past week and they have not moved. What sort of service is this? Its bad service. The pants cost £200 plus the cost of sending them. Not heard a thing from anyone, have no idea where they are or what is happening. Its a poor show. Deal with it, do not make me never use you again......

If I could give no stars, I would have. I booked a collection and delivery service through parcel Monkey with Parcel Force. It was booked as a 24hr service on a Wednesday. For reasons unknown, my package was sent to the wrong depot which caused a lengthy delay, the package was left in the depot over a weekend, eventually getting delivered on the Monday. The original 24hr service had been some what missed. I raised a complaint with Parcel Force who said as it was originally booked through Parcel Monkey, I should raise my complaint with them. Unfortunately, the reply I received was totally unacceptable and insulting. I would not use this service again and I will not be advising my family or friends either. No responsibility or ownership of my concern from Parcel Monkey

Was easy to post by just drop off at our local post office
Would defiantly use the parcel monkey payment service again saved us a vast amount of money paying through parcel monkey and still getting the post office service.

Booked collection for Monday and the courier never arrived. Spent the whole day inside waiting ( as they give you an 8-18 window) as you never know when they arrive. Contacted customer service to only be told that they can only apologise and rebook for another day. So another wasted day .. I won’t be using them again and I do not recommend.

Have used ParcelMonkey for a couple of years now. Generally good service. Tracking service isn’t always updated but this is easily sorted by contacting them via online chat or sending a message to the team who respond quickly

Used DPD via Parcel Monkey. Looks like our parcel is lost. Its been collected from the pick up point but tracking says its still there. Frankly, I dont know why anyone uses DPD. We had another parcel posted directly with them and we have the same issue. And then you start to investigate and find theyre just one of the worst carriers. If I were you, Parcel Monkey, Id drop them from my list of carriers.

We accepted a quote of £70 to deliver an antique tapestry chair to a customer in Scotland. This price included an excess insurance premium to cover the value of £200 compensation in case of loss or damage. The carrier, DX freight, delivered the chair badly damaged with two broken legs. The chair was securely packaged in thick polythene and bubble wrap and painstakingly BOXED in heavy duty cardboard & marked FRAGILE. We have supplied photos of the damaged item and box to Parcel Monkey and they refuse to pay compensation. This is what they have said “the chair is not flat packed, it is freestanding. Based on this we cannot compensate you for this item. Freestanding furniture is prohibited as per our terms and conditions“. eBay sellers beware!! I have stated over and over again that the chair was NOT FREESTANDING but heavily packaged and BOXED and thereby Not Restricted. Judging by what they have said it looks like they will only transport flat packed furniture which obviously counts out any antique/vintage furniture. Will certainly not be using Parcel Monkey again and wish there was an option to leave no stars at all! Date of experience: 20 December 2022

Robbing bas*ards! Paid for 48 hour express delivery, they delivered it 4 days afterwards. My advise would be to just go with a recognized delivery company and not these bunch of monkeys (pun intended!!)

Used pm because of the international cyber incident and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to organise a pickup. Okay not go back to Royal Mail when the incident is over.

Used Parcel Monkey to ship an item via UPS. The package was not delivered, and there was no POD provided. Parcelmonkey adds nothing. I am still out of pocket and waiting for a refund. The inability to speak to UPS directly is a big issue. Avoid.

I selected 24 hrs express service via Parcelforce as it clearly stated "Delivery on Saturday 27th" and paid considerably more for this service. Collected on the Friday, tracking showed in delivery depot at 6 am on the Saturday. the parcel was Not delivered until the Monday (72hrs) - the "chat bot" took 3 hours -YES 3 HOURS - to respond - I have explained and I have been dismissed by parcelmonkey saying I am wrong! I have evidence that shows the contrary and the service offered Saturday delivery - but they have ignored it - appalling customer service and a rip off company - do not use!
