Initially I bought postage with Parcel Force only for them to not come and pick up when they said they would, so cancelled and got a refund. I was sending a 32 inch monitor and for some reason Parcel Force would only cover me if it were lost not damaged in transit. In the end I got DPD fully covered, cost £2 more they picked up at 4pm and the 32 inch monitor was delivered next day by noon undamaged. Super quick delivery !!

so far my experience with parcel monkey has been without complaint & generally excellent, of course the true test will be when something goes wrong with a delivery and how that plays out with the them and the third party parcel courier but so far so good.

What went wrong this time? How can the company improve? Remember to be honest, helpful and constructive. Guidelines from Trust pilot for writing a review. Having read other reviews for Parcel monkey. The same things are going wrong on a daily basis. Gift parcel to my grandchildren in Germany was returned to me on 4 Feb, having posted it on 17th Jan 2023. Weight, dimensions, contents and addresses all correct. 19th Jan DPD sent an email in German which I didnt understand, but could read 27 euros. I contacted Parcel Monkey asking for an explanation and was told the parcel was delivered DDU. Delivery Duties Unpaid. Parcel Monkey said that they had no control over what other countries charge for customs duties and that the recipient would have to pay the charge. However, on there website, it says that if there is a problem, they would contact the courier DPD. They did not do that. I am very disappointed with Parcel Monkey and DPD and would not recommend using them.

Only just started using Parcel Monkey, Have found them cheaper to send bigger items. Normally use Parcel2go but they are getting very expensive, Same couriers with PM.

Process of booking was straightforward with exception to the customs form, all the links supplied to find the information required so got there in the end.
Parcel was picked up when they said and delivered safely to the recipient within days.

As Royal Mail were unable to export parcels I used Parcel Monkey it was more expensive but was a smooth experience through customs & reached the client in the time so worth the money

My experience with Parcel Monkey has been dismal. This is the second parcel to France the first never arriving and Parcel Monkey cant tell me where it is. The customer service team seem oblivious to the EU Regulations relating to parcels sent to an "individual/ family member." Despite marking the products as a gift, going to my sister, I had to pay Duty and VAT that equated to nearly half the value of the parcel. EU Regulations clearly state that personal gifts from and to an individual under 45€ are exempt from Duty and VAT. So after sending the details from French Customs to Parcel Monkey, they then pass on to the carrier, and nothing happens, well thats not true; You will then get an email from the carrier telling you unless you pay the duty they have calculated, they will return the parcel at your cost.

I have used this easy to use site now several times for collection for a small on line business. Easy to navigate on line and print your own label then the courier comes and picks it up. No problem!

You picked a parcel up on Wednesday for next day delivery and it will arrive at its destination Monday midday. Not good enough.

Parcel was set up for collection from home on the Monday, nobody arrived to collect, same on the Tuesday meaning an inconvenient trip to take it myself to the post office.

Terrible experience!!!I had two parcels,none arrived. The one for Germany was sent back-still need to understand the reason.Everything was righ,the address and the weight and I put additional custom declaration.just in case.Still,was returned to me and takes until 6 WEEKS to have it back. The other was for Canada-I paid a parcel until 1 kg,the parcel contained two wool mice,barely 200 gr,and received an email that my account was suspended ,since they wanted additional payment ,which my bank declined,for a parcel of 2.4 KG.I asked information about this issue and currently wait for a reply,but TERRIBLE experience.Not once,but twice.No,I do not recommend.At all!

These are proper scammers. They add random charges and take it out of your Paypal account. No direct number or email to contact them.

The ease of sending package was very good, although because Im housebound at moment, I was disappointed by the fact that the eight options for sending to Denmark was really only one. No matter which option I selected for home collection, it reverted to the one drop off option.
After getting someone to drop off at a nearby point, all the rest was very smooth, I was able to track the package on its journey, which was delivered a day earlier than estimated.
Apart from the initial glitch, a reasonably priced, and reliable service.

Booking with UPS, paid for guaranteed delivery- item didn’t arrive on time and when I tried to claim they told me that it was determined from the day it was collected, not when it was dropped off. I was advised that they collected every weekday, but UPS claims said that they don’t collect if there aren’t enough packages to collect. None of this is in the small print- not good enough - will NEVER use them again!!
