Papua New Guinea is a nation in Oceania, and is the eastern part of the world's second largest island and is one of the world's most diverse countries with over 700 native tongues being used. Many of the residents of the country live without any modern resources with 80% of its population living in rural areas. A lot of the Papua New Guinea nationals live in poverty with the nation being one of the biggest areas for aids in the world. The nation struggling economy can be explained by the nations extremely low Gross National Income of US $1,480.
The economy in Papua New Guinea is doing struggle even though the island has substantial mineral resources. Minerals such as gold, copper and Nickel can be found on the island. However, the terrain and infrastructure make gaining these materials a slow process. A small minority of Papua New Guinea can obtain cash crops of Coffee and Coca. The extensive forest also provides a great deal of wood for logging companies. However, this has been controversially exploited by big Malaysian companies. There is no doubt the Papa New Guinea has the potential to become one of the world’s biggest energy exporter with a wide amount of different resources available.
The country has a population of 7.2 million people, and the island's official currency is the Papa New Guinea Kina. The islands official language is English; however, as mentioned before, the island has over 700 native tongues.

Our Parcel was collected from our home in Cornwall and was safely delivered to Papua New Guinea, Customs were dealt with by Parcel Monkey and our son was notified by phone when the parcel was ready to be picked up at the nearest town. I shall certainly make use of Parcel Monkey again.

Picked up and delivered on time
Brilliant service, easy collection, speedy delivery, very reasonable price with option to add insurance cover.
The best value around and fast delivery. It was only after packing my goods and taping the box to get accurate weight and measurements that I was sent the packaging guide and presented with the list of prohibited items. I appreciate not all items can be sent or are sent at the sender’s risk but there are so many things on the list (even chocolate for domestic delivery), it would be easier and shorter if you wrote list of what can be sent rather than what can’t. Could you also explain why each of the items on the prohibited list cannot be sent?
