Wigan is located in the centre of a triangle of Parcelforce depots. There is one located in Liverpool, one to the east of Manchester city centre and one in Bamber Bridge - just outside of Preston. If you have booked an international or domestic parcel delivery service with them this means that you can either take your parcel to the depot, which could be convenient if you work in either of the cities or you could simply arrange for a courier to visit you at home or work on an agreed day.
You also have the option to book international parcel delivery with Parcelforce and take your parcel to one of forty-seven Post Offices within 6.1 miles of the town centre. Your options are plentiful and include the one on Wallgate in Whelley, Robin Park, Ince, Beech Hill, Hawkley, Goose Green, Platt Bridge, Bamfurlong, Worthington, Shevington and Standish.
Further to the Parcelforce options, you can book a DPD Pick Up service, meaning you can book the service online, print the labels out and take them to one of the 2,500 pick up stores DPD have in the UK. Wigan is a great location to get to a DPD Pick Up store with a whole host to choose from including Wigan News, Market Place, Wigan, WN1 1PE

First time of sending parcel overseas so used Royal Mail thinking they would be be the most reliable. Unfortunately in spite of being more expensive they have lost my parcel. Last heard of 2 days after dropping it off at PO, in Heathrow, and 3 weeks after applying for compensation still not heard anything not even an acknowledgement. Can’t fault your company
