One of the easiest options is the convenient DPD Pick Up service, as you have the option to drop off at one of over 2,500 locations across the country. Simply print your labels at home and drop in one of their stores where a courier will then collect it, meaning no need to wait in for the driver to collect. This is a fully tracked service, and DPD are ahead of the game with their predict technology meaning an hour delivery slot is sent to the recipient via text message. Brilliant service to keep everyone happy.
The county of Derbyshire stretches far south to the commuter belt of Birmingham right up to the East of Manchester and South West of Leeds. It covers a staggering amount of the nation's countryside and is situated between many industrial towns and cities. For many customers the best option to send a parcel from the county is to arrange for one of the couriers we give you prices for actually to come to your office or home and collect your correctly labelled parcel from you. This is a popular option across all of our customers but may be particularly relevant to clients in Derbyshire as there are no partner depots in the county.
If you had to take your parcel to a depot before or after work it may be an option if you live or work in Manchester, Morley, Rotherham, Nottingham, Birmingham or Coventry as there are depots available there.
Customers who are sending parcels abroad and aren't able to make themselves available to hand over a parcel can always take it one of a few hundred Post Office branches in the county. You will find this a simple process as you can book the parcel online. After booking, we will email you a label that you should attach to your parcel and then you can take it to the counter and the staff there will book it in and give you a tracking number. If you are sending your parcel outside of the EU, then they will ask you to fill out a form that will be attached to your parcel. It would be a good idea, therefore, to have a full list of what you're sending so you can quickly do this form. If your parcel is a sale you have made to a customer abroad then you should also print out a copy of their receipt/order details and attach it to the outside of the parcel to - this will help with the customs process. We have some information on our international parcel delivery page which may help.
