The best option for urgent drop off services and convenience is the DPD Pick Up service. You can print the labels out and home and take to one of over 2,500 drop off points where the goods will be collected. You can also book a drop off at most Post Offices with Parcelforce.
Despite being one of the smaller counties in the nation, Worcestershire is pretty well served for depots - mostly on its northern edge, however. There is a depot in the suburbs of the north of Worcester, but if you live towards the far north of the county, in what could be classed as the Birmingham conurbation you may be better served by the depots in West Bromwich or the city itself - if you work relatively close by. There is also a depot in Coventry if you need to make an urgent drop-off.
To the far south of the county, most notably the part of Worcestershire south of the M50, you may be better served by getting on the A417 or the M5 and heading into Gloucester to the Parcelforce depot there. To the east of the county, around the Berrington, Tenbury Wells area you could even be tempted to head over the border into Shropshire for the depot at Shrewsbury as the traffic can be terrible going into Worcester.
It must be pointed out, however, that virtually every service we compare prices on has a pick-up option. This is where the courier will pay a visit to your premises to collect the parcel and doesn't require you to visit any depot. This is the most convenient for stay-at-home parents or people who don't work as they may be more flexible with leaving their home. People who do work may be able to arrange for the courier to pick up their parcel from their work address.
