Edinburgh is particularly well-served for post Officse with many in the city centre itself and others in Stockbridge, Morningside, Newington, Leith, Murrayfield, South Gyle and Portabello. This will be particularly handy for those customers that work during the day and may not be able to arrange a courier to collect from their work. Currently you can only send international parcels from the Post Office that you have booked online with us. Alternatively you could use the Parcelforce depot by Edinburgh Park train station and by the junctions of the M8 and hte A71 with the The City of Edinburgh By-Pass. This depot can accept both parcels for abroad and those staying within the UK.

There other options available should you not want to drop your parcel at either a Post Office or depot. You could have them collected from your office, home or place of work. This option is available at virtually all addresses in the UK and all you need to do is select the particular collection service you wish to use during the booking process. We also have a range of international options which can only be booked by arranging a courier collection.
If you wanted to book a timed service such as early mornings or on a Saturday then we have these options available to you too.
The process of booking a courier collection or drop-off is incredibly simple. If your parcel is being collected then we will need an address where the parcel will be available. If you are booking a drop-off service then you may need to select the depot from a drop down list or a Post Office from a list of possibilities offered based on your post code.
The rest of the process should be clear. There are a few things that may need emphasising is that some services will require you to print a label and attach it to y our parcel, whilst others may not. Another important note to make is that it is essential that you correctly measure and weigh your parcel as incorrect measurements may result in additional charges.
We, of course, also help arrange the delivery of parcels to Edinburgh as well as from it. If you're within the UK and your parcel is to be collected from another location here then the process is just the same as detailed above. We cannot, however, help arrange a courier to collect a parcel from abroad and ship it to Edinburgh.
Comments from customers who have sent parcels from Edinburgh.
Sent parcel to northern France. UK leg of the journey great - collection when DPD said, into Europe by next morning. French leg slower and they wont deliver on weekends - inconvenient for the recipient who works during the week.
Always on time.
Have used Parcel Monkey numerous times - good rates, great service every time. Definitely better by far than other similar companies.
Always on time I wouldnt use anyone else.
Easy and cheaper than the post office!
Good service. Website easy to use.
