The Republic of Serbia is a landlocked country in the Balkans surrounded by a variety of countries including its former Yugoslav countries of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Kosovo. It also shares borders with Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria. Serbia and Serbs as a race have a very long history in the region and have faced feuds, ethnic issues and changing borders. Although much of that is in the past, it still affects the current national psyche.

Although Serbia had a planned economy up to the late twentieth century, it has largely transferred into a free economy. Today much of Serbia's export earnings are derived from metals and agriculture.
If you use Parcel Monkey to book international courier delivery to Serbia, you can expect to pay around £50 using DHL Express International for a light parcel and around £100 for a 10kg box.
DHL will send a courier to your home or work address and pick up the parcel and will then deliver it to the recipient in Belgrade or other major cities in 1-2 days. If the recipient lives in a more remote location it may take a little longer to arrive.
You will be provided with full tracking so you can see when the package has arrived either using the Parcel Monkey tracking or using the DHL tracking number and tracking it on the DHL website.

It is very important to provide a working local recipient contact number so that Customs or the courier can make contact with the recipient should there be any issues when making the delivery.

Surprisingly, sending my parcel to Australia was £20 cheaper using Royal Mail via Parcel Monkey. Completing the form at home was simple, printed off, stuck on the parcel, taken to the Post Office, and the parcel was received within the week. Excellent service, and wont ever go to a Post Office again to send a parcel directly, I will just go to Parcel Monkey.
