Here are some examples of prices to send a parcel to Djibouti. We have many options, so for a personalised quote please enter the weight of your item into the quote box below.
Republic of Djibouti is a small Arabic nation in north east Africa sharing borders with Eritrea, Somalia and Ethiopia which it earns significant revenues from due to Ethiopia being landlocked and Djibouti having a container port.
Historically much of the Djibouti export revenues have come from the production of trucks and associated parts. It does also earn a degree of revenue from the live exportation of sheep, goats and cows.
As a nation we do little trade with Djibouti and hence the number of courier shipments is also limited. Another factor impacting the courier industry is the lack of infrastructure. This has the knock-on effect increasing shipping times in comparison to its neighbours. With typical DHL Air Express times being four to six full working days from the date of collection and our own service being five to seven days. Costs will vary according to the weight and dimensions of your parcel, but we do have indicative pricing above.
Typical import restrictions include credit cards, undeveloped film, jewellery, knives, perfume and audio and video tapes. We do suggest that you contact the Consulate in Djibouti who should be able to help with any import questions:

Heavy box collected with fragile item from Lowestoft and delivered in Scotland (near Aberdeen) a few days later. I had written This side up on the box, but this was not always obeyed, as there was slight damage to the item. However the price was very good for delivery and the customer had a spare part, so was not unhappy.
DPD did what they said they would and the tracking process confirmed that.
Everything worked as should. Great service!
