We can offer reduced prices on courier collection from the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scilly Isles and Scottish Islands the same as other locations in the UK. We put all orders through our one account, meaning cheaper prices due to saving on the basis of economies of scale. We do not offer a drop off service in these locations, they will be picked up from your address by a collection driver. Due to the extra manpower involved in servicing Islands, it pays to shop around for a quote to have parcels collected- which is why Parcel Monkey is the ideal tool as we offer a range of services and at a discounted rate due to the large volume of parcels sent everyday on our courier accounts, meaning you can save a few quid on parcel delivery.
For Northern Ireland, we offer collections and drop off services with Parcelforce.
We do not offer a collection service from the Channel Islands, but we can help you deliver to them.
TIP: When booking a service to the Isle of Man or Scilly Isles, choose UK as the destination and you will see a quote for these destinations as when choosing Isle of Man or Scilly Isles from the drop down list it will not show any services- this is something we will have resolved soon.
Delivery Times & Costs
For a typical parcel (30cm x 30cm x 30cm x 3kg) we can offer a next day service for the Isle of Wight for example at around £10.85+VAT via ParcelForce or if you prefer the Parcelforce 48 service which is slightly more cost effective. If there is to be any additional surcharge for Island collection services this will be shown when you get a quote, but generally across the board the prices match those of a collecition in mainland areas. If the courier is to take longer to carry an item from these locations, this will be advised at the time of booking.
Currently, these services are mainly provided by Parcelforce, who offer great tracking and free protection cover of your items up to the value £60 and in addition to this when you get a quote, you can add more protection cover to more highly valued items.
We are making it easier to find out how much it costs and may take to send packages to any one of the islands so have begun to list them here:
