Parcel Monkey sends large volumes of parcels to Jersey, mainly due to the fact our postal rates to the island are often cheaper than you get anywhere else. Not only this, we only work with reputable courier companies so that you post your parcel offshore with a trustworthy delivery service. Compare prices before you book and see which courier can deliver to Jersey for the best price, or in the quickest time.
If you are looking to post a parcel to Jersey we have a selection of courier services ready for you to book. The most popular postage service is Parcelforce, who offer delivery to Jersey in 2 working days. You can also choose to have your parcel collected from your home or work address by a courier, or if being able to drop off at the Post Office is easier, you can book that option too.
Our other express courier services to Jersey include DHL by Road and also Parcel Monkey using our Air Express option which is collected in the UK by Parcelforce and delivered in Jersey by a local express courier or DHL.
These services will ensure your package is delivered within 2 working days.
With our Parcelforce services, it does cost a little more than posting to another UK domestic address due to the logistics of sending items to an island that is further away from the mainland. However, we offer cheaper rates than you could get at the Post Office because we send so many parcels we have a discounted price which we pass on to our customers.
Sending larger parcels also costs more money than smaller ones although sending 15kg to 30kg parcels is actually the same price. For anything over 30kg, a really heavy parcel, DHL Road would be our most cost-effective service.
Interestingly Jersey is neither a member of the Commonwealth nor the European Union - which means that if you are sending a parcel to Jersey then you are actually subject to the customs laws of the Jersey government. With this in mind, when sending a parcel to any of the 12 parishes, you will need to complete Customs Documents in the booking process in order for the parcel to clear customs and be delivered.
You can find details for those here. GST is a form of tax and may be charged on goods imported (although it is unclear if the £240 including shipping limit where goods aren't charged GST are included if goods are couriered rather than personally transported).
If you have any questions relating to the importation of goods to Jersey you can contact the Jersey Customers & Immigration Service here, or call +44 (0) 1534 448088.
Jersey does have some import restrictions which you can find the latest information here. Although the restrictions are enshrined in the Customs And Excise (Import And Export Control) (Jersey) Order 2006. There are also restrictions in place for HIV testing kits.
We don't offer parcel delivery from Jersey back to the UK, so try Jersey Post for this type of service who are investors in Parcel Monkey.
