The well-documented troubles in Syria have brought this nation to the centre of global attention. Many thousands of people have left the country in recent times but it is still possible to send goods to those who still reside there. Maybe you need to send personal goods to a loved one, friends or family or even to businesses who still operate there and for those customers, we have three courier options to choose from.
Posting parcels from the UK to Syria can be expensive if you are trying to send it at the Post Office, but luckily we have some discounted DHL prices as well as our own hybrid delivery option.
Despite the ongoing issues in Syria, we still see a small number of parcels being sent to Damascus and beyond.
We offer two services at the time of writing DHL Express and Parcel Monkey Air Express.
For those who need an urgent delivery, DHL offers the quickest transit times taking just 2-3 days and they come and collect the parcel from your home or work address and transport it with full tracking.
If you need a cheaper service you can book Parcel Monkey Air Express, which takes 3-4 working days and is collected in the UK by Parcelforce and then delivered in Syria by DHL. The service still comes with full tracking and is cheaper than DHL.
All services booked with Parcel Monkey come with tracking, plus we offer protection cover to add to your order as well.
The Syrian Arab Republic, at the time of writing at least, is in the middle of what could be called as a civil war and hence this is likely to affect parcel deliveries. Transit times and Customs Clearance are likely to be delayed.
Please contact us before you place an order to receive the current guidance. We also suggest that you also review the latest information from the FCO regarding travel to Syria - which should reflect on our partners' ability to ship parcels there.
Furthermore, we suggest that you keep up-to-date with the information offered by the Syrian Customs Authority.
When shipping abroad it is essential to provide a working contact number of the recipient. This is so Customs or the Courier can make contact with the recipient should there be any issues with delivery.
