Lesotho is an enclave of South Africa and despite having a land mass of 30,000 km2 it has a population greater than two million. Given that it is a Commonwealth country it does have noticeable economic ties with the UK - mainly based on manufacturing and mining and less so on their primary industries of agriculture and livestock.
The country does also have strong ties with the US and the rest of Africa doe to international schemes to improve exports. Notably, it exports clothing to the US - mainly for some of the most well-recognised brands.
The price to send parcels to this nation does not have to be expensive if you make the most of the cost savings we offer when you book a parcel via our quote engine.
When you look for a courier to deliver to Lesotho via our shipping calculator you will have a choice of Express and Economy delivery.
If time is the most important factor, then we offer DHL Air Express which will see your goods arrive in the likes of Maseru in just 2-4 days. You can expect to pay around £65 at the time of writing for this fully tracked courier service.
A great alternative to this, as it only takes a day or two more for the goods to be delivered is our own brand Parcel Monkey Air Express, which you can book from £32.42. This is still fully tracked, collected from you in the UK by Parcelforce and delivered in Lesotho by DHL.
If you are sending luggage or personal belongings the chances are you will be sending a more weighty parcel. We can of course still help and can keep the costs down for you. 10kg parcels can be sent on Air Express courier service for less than £70, 20kg would set you back just over £100 which compared to what you may get quoted directly from a courier or at the Post Office will be a vast saving.
Just add your parcel dimensions and weight into the quote engine and we can show all our courier options in a matter of seconds so you can pick out the best product for you.
Remember when shipping overseas to destinations such as Africa, there will be customs documents required. We make this part easy as we take your details in the booking process and provide it on a form when you complete the order so it is simple to print out and attach to your box
Before you book a parcel delivery to Lesotho, you are best served to review any restrictions or prohibitions on international shipping. We suggest you contact the Lesotho Customs and Excise for further information.
Time slot between 7-6PM. Asked my mum to wait in all day for DHL to collect the package, a bit nervous when it got to 17:45 and still a no show. Ive had bad experiences with that in the past. 18:04 the delivery driver showed up, a massive relief as these were urgent documents needing to reach South Africa by the end of the week latest. Good tracking system, and recipient notified throughout journey of the progress. Collected 18:04 Monday 23rd in Peterborough and delivered Friday 27th 7am in Lesotho. Estimated delivery by end of day Thursday 26th, only half a day over so cant complain. Completed the service I paid for without issues.
