Jordan, or to use its official title: the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, is Arab kingdom in western Asia and has land borders with Israel, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, and the West Bank. Interestingly it is almost a landlocked country, however, it does have a small coast along the northern tip of the Dead Sea either side of the town of Aqaba.

Article 72 of the customs law states that the customs authority can open any package, without the sender's presence, if they suspect it to contain prohibited items.
The Jordan Customs website frequently mentions a list of prohibited items, but that list is seemingly not disclosed online. What we can gather is that all printed (electronic or hardcopy) material is liable for inspection and then censorship or confiscation.
