The Republic of Cuba has a rich and varied history from the day it was found by Christopher Columbus for the Kingdom of Spain in 1492, to that of ownership by the United States from 1892 to 1902, the Battista regime which lasted until 1958 and Fidel Castro's socialist single-party state which exists until this day.
Despite being run by the communist party for over fifty years the country boasts a 99.8% literacy rate and an infant mortality rate lower than many free-market countries. They have, however, suffered from a lack of economic growth for many generations which has resulted in a very low level of international trade with non-sympathising countries in The West. Although, recently the Castro regime had relaxed the control of the public sector, which now accounts for only 78% of employment - down from 91.8% in 1981.
There are limitations for sending parcels to Cuba. They specifically relate to the value of items and that a resident can only receive one commercial parcel - even if they're sent to separate addresses. Furthermore, there are rules regarding tariffs which can be found here

Quick, cheap, reliable - couldnt fault the service
Simple and efficient.
I use Parcel Monkey a few times a month and it works well with ParcelForce. However, what stops me using it more frequently is the lack of lines on the booking page for delivery addresses. There are only 5 blank lines for the delivery address. Also you cannot use commas or any kind of separator (, - /) which is sometimes a problem and the number of characters per line is limited to 23. This means that if I have a delivery address that requires 5 or more lines, I use another courier.
