The Republic of Botswana is one of many landlocked countries in Africa, but unlike other nations in this part of the continent it contains a large area of desert. The Kalahari Desert actually occupies 70% or so of the Botswana landmass.
That being said, the vast majority of the national income is derived from the extraction of diamonds whilst the nickel also plays an important part in the creation of national wealth. These resources have certainly helped move Botswana from being one of the poorest nations in the region to one of the richest.
Just as is the case with the vast majority of African countries, the prices to send parcels to Namibia don't vary a great deal. You can expect the prices to be the same as with the neighbouring countries of Namibia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Good website and choice of carriers, sent two parcels one arrived next day but the other took 36 hours longer, disappointed with the carrier (DPD), no comms for the parcel that arrived on time but a message re the one that arrived late. Not cheap to use but convenient and both parcels ultimately arrived.
