Many people don't know that the correct name for Bolivia is actually Plurinational State of Bolivia. As a country landlocked by Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile most of Bolivia's trade is with those countries and not predominantly the UK, in fact the United Kingdom is not in the top nine countries of bi-lateral trade. That's not to say that British people don't send a reasonable number of parcels to Bolivia though as we do.
Recently Bolivia's economy has been doing well. Between 2010 and 2011 exports rose 30% and, buoyed by it's natural resources and financial services sectors, the economy has doubled its growth rate when compared to ten years ago.
As with many countries in South America there isn't clear information regarding the import restrictions. What we can gather is that telecoms devices are restricted as well as Ivory and items prohibited. There is also a likelihood that goods imported will attract duties and tariffs. You will need to attach a commercial invoice in either English or Spanish.
